William Shatner reads Levi Johnston’s Tweets on Late Night with Conan O’Brien

Even though William Shatner rubs me the wrong way sometimes, he’s also funny as hell.

Conan opens the clip poking fun at  Levi Johnston, calling him a douche and explaining that Levi is a big Twitter user. (Funny thing is, all Levi Johnston’s Twitter accounts are fake, that I know of.) So Conan says that Johnston’s tweets are “like poetry.” So, who better to read the Twitter updates in true beatnik-like fashion than Mr. Shat?

Some of the supposed tweets are hysterical:

“Anybody know where I can get some good weed?”

“Is it true that fat kids never get kidnapped?”

“You know you’re a celebrity when strangers want to see your penis.”

Of course they aren’t as funny when you simply read them. But with that special Shat flair, they’re genius.

Conan O’Brien concussion/ injury video.

Conan O’Brien took a nasty spill during a skit where he and Teri Hatcher were doing their own NBC studio “triathalon”, hitting his head quite hard at the finish line.

Conan slipped and fell on the slippery studio floor, falling backwards. His head is seen quite literally bouncing off the floor.

In this clip, he and Andy chat about the incident during last night’s show. Conan, who suffered a concussion from the fall, describes what it was like during and afterwards.

You’ll see his speech was definitely affected, he slurred his words and apparently he didn’t remember what year it was, or the month.

Glad he is doing better now, head injuries can be terrible!

William Shatner spoofs Sarah Palin’s final speech on Conan O’Brien’s The Tonight Show.

The Shat goes totally Beatnik on us – and I love it!

Conan runs from New York to Los Angeles, ending up at Universal Studios where the new show is filmed.

“The Fixer” is said to be the first single off the band’s new album. The single will be released in July, and the new album is rumored to hit shelves September 22, 2009.

Tonight Conan O’Brien makes his debut as the new host of NBC’s The Tonight Show!

His ads have been fabulous, here are just a couple of the many promoting the new show.

It’s not quite completed, but it’s getting close. It’s coming to life at the new Stage 1 at Universal Studios.

Andy Richter is set to once again be paired with O’Brien, just like the old days. He was on The Late Show with Conan O’Brien from 1993-2000 and is set to be the announcer on the new show, set to air on June 1st.

Richter says of the new Tonight Show set,

“I don’t think it’s going to blow anybody’s mind or anything. It kind of evokes Art Deco, and what I like about it is it reminds people a little bit of Rockefeller Center. For me, it’s almost a subliminal ramping up and acknowledgment of the history of The Tonight Show. Also red hair looks nice against blue. So there’s a lot of blue.”

The stage is twice the size of Conan’s old Late Night studio in New York, and with a 25-foot-high doorway it’s big enough to fit even the tallest of guests and/or animals.

Jay Leno is set to retire from The Tonight Show, but don’t worry, he’ll remain the host for almost another year.

Leno announced at the Television Critics Association panel on Monday that he will be leaving The Tonight Show on May 29, 2009.

Conan O’Brien will be taking over the job on Monday, June 1st, as previously announced.

Did you hear about Conan O’Brien’s little mistake last week?

During his monologue he mentioned HornyManatee.com, as a joke. At the time it wasn’t really a ‘.com’, but apparently if he mentions any domain that isn’t existing, NBC must purchase that name. Some bizarre technicality. True story.

So HornyManatee.com was born.

Conan and NBC have been capitalizing on the domain, and have put up a site mocking web porn sites with manatees in place of people.

Conan has been asking people to send in funny pictures of manatees for the site.

Check out the site and you will see what I’m referring to. (Look under ‘Fan Art’.) Of course, tens of thousands of entries have been received, with only a few making it onto the site..and even fewer making it onto ‘Late Night with Conan O’Brien’.

Well, I thought it would be fun to create a manatee of my own. So I did, and I submitted it yesterday.

Well wouldn’t you know it, I made the cut. My manatee made it on the site!

Here is my manatee. I am honored that mine was one of the chosen few, and am hoping like hell that it makes the cut to be shown on air.
