The least famous of the Baldwin siblings is offering his time for media coverage – at a price.

His current rep, Bob DeBrino, pitched Baldwin to Steppin’ Out editor, Chaunce Hayden, for a cover story and photo shoot.

However, the conversation came to a quick halt when DeBrino asked, “So how much money do you guys pay for interviews?” Hayden replied, “Huh?”

DeBrino answered, “What… did you think Daniel would talk to anyone for free? He’s a Baldwin!”

Hayden finished the sales pitch with, “Sorry, but I was thinking of asking you the same question… How much do we get if we put a Baldwin that nobody cares about on the cover?”

Oh, Chaunce, I love you!

TMZ caught the recently rehabbed Mary Carey outside Mr. Chow last night and we are happy to report that she is still sober.

Mary talked with the paps about the Daniel Baldwin incident on ‘Celebrity Rehab’ in which he text messaged her dirty messages and asked where he could buy her X-rated films.

The day after, he asked her to keep it quiet, since he is a married man. Instead, she came forward with the information to fellow rehabbers and to Dr. Drew. His wife found out about it and has since called Mary.

“Actor Daniel Baldwin was arrested on suspicion of stealing an SUV.

Baldwin was stopped Wednesday by officers in Santa Monica who saw him in a white GMC Yukon reported stolen in neighboring Orange County, authorities said.

The actor was taken to jail and booked for investigation of grand theft auto. Bail was set at $20,000.

“The car belongs to an acquaintance of Mr. Baldwin, but he had no permission to take it,” said Jim Amormino, a spokesman for the Orange County sheriff’s department.

An after-hours call to Baldwin’s attorney was not immediately returned.

The 46-year-old actor made news in July when he drove a rented car at more than 80 mph through Los Angeles traffic and crashed into two parked vehicles. In April, he was arrested for investigation of cocaine possession, although prosecutors declined to file felony charges.

Baldwin, brother of actors Alec, Stephen and William, has appeared in the television series “Homicide: Life on the Street” and the movie “Car 54, Where Are You?”‘
