Whether you loved her or you hated her, one thing is for certain. You will never forget Anna Nicole Smith.

It was one year ago today that Anna Nicole died.

The obnoxious, chemically and surgically enhanced blonde bimbo had finally made her comeback. She was thin again, which led to more work, endorsements and appearances.

Then she had a baby girl and was set to wed Howard K. Stern. Although the situation was weird, it was better than her exposing her breasts or being carried offstage during an awards show. .

Shortly after, her son Daniel died. And the rest is history.

Tragic? Yes. Shocking? Not really. But we miss Anna. She was colorful and loud. She was like a train wreck that you just couldn’t help gawking at. You were always guaranteed a show..

Larry Birkhead took baby Dannielynn back to Nassau to visit her mother and brother’s graves for the first time. Fair enough. But it seems he decided to take a camera crew with them. Why?

Baby Dannielynn, now 17 months-old, was subjected to photographs and a reporter from Entertainment Tonight leering over her as she visited her family’s grave sites for the first time in her short life.

Is this fair to her? Sensationalizing the situation is terribly selfish and could be detrimental to the poor kid. But daddy seems to think it’s fine and so he let ET film everything and then told them how hard it is. “It’s tough,” he says. “Even though she doesn’t understand, it was important for us to come. One day I can tell her that we went to visit her mom.”

He makes it sound so innocent, but I can’t help but think the whole thing was plotted out like a photo shoot. All for some coin, I’m sure. Why else? I guess what really set it off for me was when I read about Dannielynn visiting the site.

Was she trained or what? It all sounds so staged! Shame on you Larry Birkhead. Let your daughter grow up with a little privacy, she’s already going to be screwed up as it is.

Now that Heath Ledger has been dead for over a week, people are starting to come forward with tales of sex, drugs and desperation. Which stories are true, and which are purely manifested for financial purposes have yet to be seen. But one thing is for sure, the dirty laundry is starting to fly.

The latest drama is Entertainment Tonight and The Insider pulling a controversial video that was filmed after the SAG awards two years ago of Ledger reportedly snorting cocaine. Ledger is not only seen snorting a white substance through a rolled up dollar bill, he is also heard in the video saying he used to smoke 5 spliffs a day for 20 years.
****UPDATE: Nw reports state it is NOT Ledger snorting cocaine, it is of a party-goer. Big difference! Helloo!

PR firm, ID Public Relations, who has represented Ledger, released a statement Wednesday condemning the TV tabloids for planning to run the video, claiming they “purchased [the video] for a large sum of money in the hopes of stirring up a salacious and exploitive story about Heath, which would win them big ratings on the first day of sweeps.”

The pressure was enough and producers pulled the clip. Entertainment Tonight states on their website,

“Out of respect for Heath Ledger’s family, “Entertainment Tonight” and “The Insider” have decided not to run the Heath Ledger video which has been circulating in the world media.”

Out of respect to the family? Laughable. C’mon ET, you’re not fooling anyone.

One month after Ike Turner passed away in his home, the cause of death has been confirmed.

The San Diego County Coroner stated that he died of an accidental cocaine overdose.

“We are listing that he abused cocaine, and that’s what resulted in the cocaine toxicity,” said the Chief Investigator of the Medical Examiners Office.

Turner’s daughter, Mia, says that her father battled with substance abuse for many years.

That’s not to say my brother’s life didn’t have value, but it certainly did not deserve to be covered more than world politics and other important issues, particularly when death happens every day to millions of people all over the world and we don’t seem to give a f**k about that.”

The California Department of Justice and the Drug Enforcement Agency raided the home of Anna Nicole Smith’s friend and psychiatrist, Dr. Khristine Eroshevich.

A neighbor told People magazine,

“There were about six cars and some men walking around with … guns.”

A rep for the DEA confirmed the raid. Officials served Eroshevich with a search warrant but no arrests have been made.

Eroshevich prescribed 11 different medications for Anna Nicole before her death in February and has been under investigation since at least April.
