Paris Hilton says that boyfriend Doug Reinhardt is the man that she will eventually marry.

Even though the couple have only been dating a short time, Paris is already convinced that Doug is her soul mate.

“We’re best friends. It’s not like we just met. We’ve known each other over the past year. I was in a relationship before and we reconnected. I’m really in love and really happy.”

That’s funny.  Just last May Paris was telling us how Benji Madden was the love of her life. Both she and Benji hinted at marriage, and Benji said Paris was “wife material.”

Well here she is again, diving in head first at 60 mph.

Saturday night Paris was asked if she and Doug were engaged and she giddily replied, “He’s going to be my husband.”

Can you imagine a Paris Hilton wedding? How over the top would that be!

New boyfriend Doug Reinhardt was spotted this weekend rockin’ a fresh cold sore on his lip.

Reinhardt’s camp says it’s simply a cut lip, stemming from the Miami bar fight last weekend, but I’m not buying it. If it was so, it would be a scab by now, right?

Anyhow, the thing probably erupted late last week and they made up the whole story about the fight just to cover for the herpes lip.

I’m just sayin’…

The lovely Paris Hilton and her new ultra devoted manchild Doug Reinhardt were involved in a nightclub scuffle early this morning.

The incident happened in the nightclub at the Fontainebleau hotel in Miami Beach at about 3:00 a.m. Hilton approached the DJ booth to request a song and that’s when security got all whacky and pushed the heiress aggressively.

New boyfriend Doug came to the rescue and told the security guard not to touch his girlfriend. Things continued to escalate and hotel security eventually broke it up after the police were called to the scene.

Paris was uninjured but Doug was left with a bloody lip.

No charges were filed.

The couple plans on leaving Miami as soon as possible.

Paris Hilton celebrated a belated 28th birthday in Vegas this weekend with her new boyfriend, Doug Reinhardt.

Doug gave Paris a myriad of gifts including another puppy (just what she needs), a baby teacup Pomeranian.

Paris gushed about her new man, “He probably got me more presents than any guy ever. He’s sweet.”

Friday night the new couple dined with 25 friends at Ago and kissed throughout the entire meal. Then at Body English, they made out on stage in front of an audience.

When asked if Doug thought the relationship was going to get serious he said, “I think so. She’s a very amazing girl. She’s the most beautiful girl on the planet. She’s amazing, both inside and out.”

Spicy prediction: This one will crash and burn as quick as it caught fire. And I’m not talking about Doug’s appendage!

That’s not the first time back door and Paris Hilton have been used in a sentence, heh.

I don’t know much about Doug except that he played some ball for the Orioles (one season) and is a self promoter, like Paris, having a web site about himself with photos of him playing ball, doing the club-guy thing with his Guido buddies and posing for professional shots.

He’s gotten around too. He likes the famous ladies, and previously dated Amanda Bynes and has been linked to Lauren Conrad.
