Eddie Murphy as The Riddler?

According to reports, Eddie Murphy has been cast in the role of The Riddler in the upcoming Batman sequel, ‘Gotham’.

Other actors expected to take part in the film are Shia LaBeouf playing Robin, Christian Bale returning as Bruce Wayne, Michael Caine also returning as his assistant Alfred, and Rachel Weisz in the coveted role of Catwoman.

A source told The Sun: “[Director Christopher Nolan] wasn’t sure if he wanted to do another movie but as soon as he decided to, he got the wheels in motion. Eddie’s a fantastic addition. Everyone’s excited to see what he does as the Riddler.”

I think it would be a wise career choice on Murphy’s part. In my opinion Murphy hasn’t done sh*t in the past 20 years. Ok, except for the voice of ‘Donkey’ on Shrek. Pfft.

C’mon, in all of his films he has been in a fat suit – or has played a woman while he’s in a fat suit.

Dude used to be hysterical when he did stand-up ["Eddie, I want half, Eddie!"] and SNL ["Unce, tice, fee times a mady.."], but since Beverly Hills Cop, he’s basically just turned into an arrogant prick who hasn’t done jack sh*t worth mentioning, yet his ego has continued to inflate to colossal proportions.

Add to it the fact that he refuses to be a father to his child with Melanie Brown, it just doesn’t make him a very likeable guy.

Even though my stomach churns at the sight of him these days, I sure do miss the old Eddie.

Eddie Murphy refuses to meet his daughter with Mel B.

Murphy has reportedly told his legal team he has no interest in ever meeting his daughter. A source told The Sun, “Mel was furious. She had been planning to take Angel to the courthouse to meet her dad for the first time.”

Considering that Eddie didn’t even want to acknowledge he was the father and postponed on taking a DNA test, this is not entirely surprising. Not only is he a shameless jerk, but I wonder if he’s not over Mel B. I think she was the best thing to happen to him. She’s so gorgeous and fun! Tracey Edmonds has nothing on her. You can tell that bitch is a prude in bed.

Eddie Murphy is indeed the daddy Melanie Brown’s 2-month-old daughter, Angel Iris Murphy Brown.

Brown received the results of the DNA test Thursday afternoon.

"He’s the baby’s father, it’s official," says a source close to Brown. "The baby is undoubtedly, 110 percent his."

"There was no doubt in people’s minds anyways, least of all hers. It wasn’t a surprise to her. She knew all along."

Murphy’s rep declined to comment.

Eddie Murphy Submits DNA Test

Eddie Murphy appeared in a Los Angeles court on Monday to submit a DNA test to see if he is, in fact, the father of Melanie Brown’s baby Angel Iris.

Melanie Brown, former Spice Girl, gave birth to Angel in April. Murphy has always insisted that he is not the father.

A source told ‘The Sun’, “Mel knows the baby is Eddie’s and can’t believe it has got to this point where she has to force him to acknowledge there is a chance he could be the father,”

“At least this way they will know officially whether Eddie is the daddy
or not and move on from there. This isn’t about the money, it’s about
Angel knowing for sure who her dad is.”

Mel B was also scheduled to appear in court. The two haven’t seen each other since the pregnancy was revealed last year.

Scary Spice Shocked by Eddie Murphy’s Outcry

In an interview on Dutch Television Eddie was asked if he was happy with Mel.

He freaked out and snipped that they were no longer together..AND that he will be requesting a paternity test, as he believes the child is not his. (Someone’s acting a QUEEN!)

What a way to breakup with someone. In this case I think that email or a text message may have been the gentler route.

Apparently, Mel B had no idea that this was coming and learned about the incident through a friend. The day before Mel had told the press that she was looking forward to spending Christmas with Eddie.

Mel is said to be hurt, especially with the paternity test request, and she said that the couple did have a small fight previous to Eddie publicly ending their relationship.

Eddie Murphy is reportedly ’seeing’ Tracey Edmonds now. (WTF?) Tracey is the ex-wife of ‘Babyface’.
But always remember, Eddie bats for both teams and will deny it to the ends of the earth!
