No, Farrah Fawcett is NOT on Her Death Bed!

Tuesday, April 28th, 2009

REX_REDMOND O'NEAL_333194H

Regardless of what the Baby Huey blogger (and those copying his story) are telling you, Farrah Fawcett’s condition has NOT worsened.

Farrah’s son Redmond was released from prison so he could spend some time with his mother, but not because she is taking a turn for the worse!

He was temporarily released because his father’s birthday was on Monday. Farrah threw a bash for Ryan O’Neal Monday night, so trust, she is NOT gravely ill as the fat boy blogger’s staff has reported. Sad thing is, now all the “follower” blogs are reporting the same thing. It’s not true!

Just thought I would clarify that..

Redmond has since returned to jail.

Farrah Fawcett to Throw Party for Ryan O’Neal’s Birthday

Tuesday, April 21st, 2009

farrah-ryan

Farrah Fawcett is throwing a birthday party for longtime partner Ryan O’Neal at her home next week.

Farrah’s BFF Alana Stewart (George Hamilton & Rod Stewart’s ex-wife) talked with People magazine and says that Fawcett is hosting the party for O’Neal’s 68th birthday next Monday night.

She says, “There will be cake and champagne. Ryan has really been there for Farrah in such a wonderful way.”

Stewart denied that Farrah is 86-pounds as her son Redmond had told the courts last week. She explains, “Farrah is not 86 pounds. Redmond is young and overreacted a little. Farrah has lost weight, but not that much. No, no, no.”

She also says that Farrah is doing much better since being released from the hospital for internal bleeding due to a small procedure she had done in Germany. “I just saw her last night and she looked better. She had color in her face and was talking and laughing.”

Farrah Fawcett Released from the Hospital

Thursday, April 9th, 2009

farrah-released

Thank goodness the rumors that Farrah Fawcett was on her death bed in the hospital were not true.

The actress, 62, suffered some internal bleeding after returning home from having a minor medical procedure in Germany. She has been battling anal cancer since 2006 and has been traveling back and forth to Germany for alternative care.

Her doctor, Dr. Lawrence Piro told People magazine, “She’s walking and in great in spirits and looking forward to celebrating Easter at home. Her home has been stocked with her favorite teas and food and she’s looking forward to enjoying them.”

Fawcett was admitted to a local Los Angeles hospital on April 2nd.

Her longtime companion Ryan O’Neal was by her side throughout her stay and accompanied her home.

Farrah Fawcett Hospitalized, in Critical Condition

Monday, April 6th, 2009

farrah-fawcett-cancer1

Farrah Fawcett has been hospitalized and is in critical, but stable, condition.

The actress, 62, has been battling cancer for three years. She recently returned from Germany where she’s been receiving experimental treatment. When she arrived at LAX, paparazzi were snapping photos of her in a wheelchair. Fawcett later lashed out at the photographers saying she had pleaded with them to not photograph her.

Sadly, these may be Farrah’s last days. She is unconscious and has been in the hospital for days.

Fawcett’s longtime companion Ryan O’Neal, whose leukemia is in remission, has been by Farrah’s side. Son Redmond left rehab earlier this week after being kicked out and is currently behind bars since being caught attempting to sneak narcotics into a jail.

redmond-mugRedmond was going to visit an incarcerated friend when he was subjected to a random security search. He immediately admitted to having the drugs, was searched and jailed. He remains there on $25,000 bail.

Sad and pathetic. His mother is most likely close to dying and he is out smuggling drugs into jail for fellow junkies. What the hell?

It might be a good thing that Farrah is unconscious so she doesn’t know what’s going on. Redmond should have been by his mother’s side. Now he may never see her again. Just sad.

Farrah Fawcett to Paps: Please Leave Me Alone!

Wednesday, April 1st, 2009

farrah-fawcett-cancer

Farrah Fawcett is disgusted that paparazzi have taken photographs of her in a wheelchair even though she has pleaded with them not to.

The 62-year-old actress was photographed at LAX after returning from Germany where she is receiving treatment for her anal cancer. Her photo was snapped as she was being wheeled from the plane to a waiting car.

The poor thing, the incident has left her upset and feeling vulnerable.

Farrah made a video message expressing her anger,

“I didn’t want to be photographed in a wheelchair, which is what they’re always trying to get. That just p**ses me off. Stress is what feeds your cancer. Stress is what gives you cancer and then there’s the paparazzi giving you stress. Something has to be done.”

The paparazzi really do need to have their limits. I believe it’s just a matter of time before it happens. Something terrible will happen one day and then everyone will be wondering why there were no limitations sooner.

C’mon guys, she deserves some privacy.

Editor’s Smack:  Something terrible already did happen.  Everyone remembers what happened to Princess Diana.  There still are no limitations.  Unfortunately, stars began to market themselves within their private lives as opposed to their skill on-screen or on-stage.  They set an avalanche in motion that also caught up the stars that want their private lives left out of the spotlight.  It’s sad.

Alana Stewart and Farrah Fawcett Stick Together Through Cancer Battle

Thursday, January 31st, 2008

farrahalana.jpg

Entertainment Tonight is airing a multiple part series on Farrah Fawcett’s devastating battle with cancer.

Farrah and best friend Alana Stewart have traveled to Germany and back so Farrah can receive alternative treatments that are available in that country.

During their travels and experiences a video camera accompanied them and caught both special and sobering moments along the way.

Stewart tells ET, “Farrah took her camera to a doctor’s meeting, because she wanted to be able to remember everything. When we were in Germany meeting with the doctor, Farrah handed me the camera. We documented everything, the good, the bad and the ugly.”

“Farrah chose to go to Germany because they are doing a lot of treatments over there that are very cutting edge (and not yet approved in the United States). They inject the tumor directly with chemo, it’s called ‘embolization.’ Your immune system is not compromised as it is when you do the standard.”

In the video Farrah is seen clenching a rosary, being slid into a MRI machine and thanking God for the opportunity to visit a beautiful mountainside, as well as many other emotional moments.

Stewart says Farrah’s exposure in the media has been difficult on the actress.

“The things that have been printed about Farrah through this whole process have been the most stressful part about her recovery, more than battling cancer. One week they are printing that she is dying and the next week they are printing that she is cured. Neither one of those are true. The paparazzi stalk her. They’re waiting outside when she’s getting treatments; they’ve practically run her off the road before.”

Alana adds that one tabloid most likely had access to Fawcett’s medical records.

“She would go to the doctor and have some test, there would be certain results, and three days later it would be printed in this tabloid. Apparently they had someone inside the hospital that was accessing her medical records.”

Stewart says she and Fawcett have been friends for years.

“Farrah and I came [to Los Angeles] at the same time. We were modeling, doing TV commercials and would see each other at auditions. We became friends years later. We’re both Texas girls.”

This compelling and never-before-seen footage is not a film or a documentary; it is a raw and unedited look at Farrah Fawcett as she undergoes a radical and revolutionary new technique to try to save her life. Stewart is inspired by her friend’s courage and bravery, but says Fawcett herself tells her, “The only certainty about cancer is the uncertainty.”

The multiple-part series begins tonight on Entertainment Tonight.

Tragically, Farrah Fawcett may die within the next six months if her latest round of chemotherapy fails.

Fawcett, 60, has been traveling back and forth from her home in Los Angeles to Germany where she is seeking alternative treatment for her anal cancer.

The National Enquirer is reporting that the cancer has spread to her lymph nodes.

A source told the tabloid, “She’s gaunt and starting to lose weight. She’s miserable. But she’s not giving up. For her it’s always: ‘Never say die.’”

Charlie’s Angels Band Together for Farrah Fawcett

Thursday, January 3rd, 2008

charliesangels-1.jpg

Farrah Fawcett is not alone in her fight against cancer. Her former Charlie’s Angles cast members have reunited to form a support group for the actress.

Fawcett, 60, has been traveling between her home here in the states and Germany, where she is receiving alternative treatments for her anal cancer.

In between trips, Kate Jackson and Jaclyn Smith, both cancer survivors themselves, visit the actress in hopes of boosting her spirits and to offer their support.

Jackson beat breast cancer twice in 1987 and then in 1989. Smith also fought the disease in 2002.

A source told the National Enquirer, “Jaclyn and Kate have been there for Farrah throughout her cancer ordeal. They’re constantly dropping by to check up on her, bringing meals and special treats. And they all talk by phone daily.”

It’s good to know Farrah has the support of her longtime friends and peers. Cancer is a bitch and hopefully she will survive her second battle as she did her first.
