“I don’t have to get out of bed - that’s what I’m paying a lawyer to do, y’all!”

Britney Spears is seeking expanded visitation rights with her boys, including overnight visits, but couldn’t be bothered to show up to court this morning.

Although she was not required to attend the hearing, Britney told her lawyers last night that she would be present. It seems sleeping in may have been more of a priority at the time.

She must be pretty comfortable thinking she’ll have no problem being awarded more visitation time. However, Kevin Federline’s attorney, Mark Vincent Kaplan, is doing everything he can to stop it. Britney believes that since she has passed a drug test or two that she should be able to get her kids back. But Kaplan wants to remind the courts that “The order is a week old.“  Says Kaplan,

“If progress is made, we’re happy with that. But nothing so far has happened to alter Kevin’s request to the court [for a permanent primary custody arrangement]. It’s [only] been a week.”

Britney Spears was photographed at a gas station Saturday, giving the paparazzi exactly what they want.

Crotch shots and braless boobs ready to flop out of her dress at any moment. It seems she is completely oblivious to the fact that cleaning up her public image may help in regaining custody of her children. Looking disheveled and messy, Britney wore huge dark sunglasses and an odd outfit including a shawl and platform heels.

Obviously losing her kids has not affected her in the least. She’s up to her same old tricks and if you ask me, girlfriend has yet to hit ‘rock bottom’.

I posted a photo earlier of Brooke in all her glory arriving to last night’s 2007 Fox Reality Channel Really Awards.

She actually didn’t look half bad, compared to some of the sh*t that girl decides to wear.

This was not the outfit she was wearing when she strolled the red carpet. However, once inside she chose to slut it up quite a bit and went for this little number. A sheer, trampy cutout dress that was hardly more than a scarf. Poor girl, she doesn’t get that slutty doesn’t equal sexy.

What in the hell is going on with that thang?! It looks like she burned a hole in the left breast area and patched it up with foil and duct tape or something.

And the hair..the hair has got to improve. I love Tyra, I really do, but the wig is just so not believable to me. I think it’s the bangs. It might be the color. Who knows, but I’m not feeling this whole look!

Sure, Britney Spears might be trying to blame Sarah Silverman and everyone else for her poor performance at the VMAs Sunday, but the truth is, she caused her own demise.

According to Page Six, Britney not only showed up for the event late, she also had a cocktail in hand.

Britney was supposed to be at a live rehearsal Saturday at 1pm. She didn’t arrive in Sin City until 4:30pm.

One source said,

“She didn’t even get to Las Vegas until 4:30 p.m. It was ridiculous. The production people at MTV were freaking out. Nobody can tell Britney what to do anymore. No one can control her. She is a mess.”

You would think that as soon as she touched down she would be high tailing it to rehearsal, but that wasn’t the case. Britney headed straight for her room where she ordered a hefty amount of food and some frozen margaritas! (So that’s why she was so bloated looking..) She didn’t come down for over an hour.

When Britney finally arrived at rehearsal she was an immediate pain in the ass. She refused to try and learn difficult dance moves and absolutely hated the outfit MTV had wanted her to wear. The ensemble, which reportedly looked much better than what she actually wore, included a corset and would have looked a million times better on her according to sources.

A source who was at the rehearsal said,

“The dance number was spectacular - without her. When the stand-in was rehearsing with the dancers, in the hours they were all waiting for her, it was amazing. Then Britney showed up and refused to do anything. The dancers were supposed to lift and twirl her in the air a few times, and that just wasn’t going to happen. The more complicated dance moves had to be erased because she couldn’t do them.”

Another source says the dancers were terrified of performing with Britney in front of the world and knew she wouldn’t give it her all.
