Victoria Beckham Refuses to Wear Anything But Heels

Monday, March 10th, 2008

Victoria Beckham recently whined to British Vogue that she won’t go to a gym because she can’t workout in high heels.

Posh thinks she is above wearing sneakers. She said, “I have joined a gym but I can’t bring myself to start. Obviously working out is important - well, I don’t. What do you wear on the running machine? I can’t bring myself to wear flat shoes.”

She went on to say that she cannot live without heels and thinks she may have an addiction to them. “If they haven’t got my size, I stick toilet paper in them to make them fit.”

So she’s ‘too posh’ to wear sneakers, but she will cram toilet paper in her stilettos so they fit? Bitch please. Pull the stick out of your arse, V. If you did, then maybe you wouldn’t have to walk on your toes all the time.

PETA Not Down With ‘The Queen’

Monday, February 18th, 2008

Just a week after Aretha Franklin ripped on Beyonce for introducing Tina Turner as ‘The Queen’, PETA is coming forward to try and get Aretha to stop wearing real furs.

PETA is using the recent controversy to try and convince the very plus-sized soul singer to retire her fur coats and go faux.

In a letter to Franklin, PETA spokesperson Dan Matthews writes, “Music lovers may think of you as a ‘queen,’ but to animal lovers, you are a court jester. Why not shed the old-fashioned look that adds pounds to your frame and detracts from your beautiful voice? Please consider donating your furs to the homeless as ‘queen of compassion,’ Mariah Carey, did. You’ll get a tax credit for the donation, and we at PETA will all sing your praises.”

Natalie Portman’s Vegan Shoe Line

Thursday, January 3rd, 2008

Last week I told you that Natalie Portman had a new line of vegan shoes coming out, but I didn’t know the specifics.

I got a few emails asking for more information on the shoes - and here it is.

Portman designed the line of vegan footwear along with Té Casan, and aptly named it the ‘Natalie Portman Collection’. Animal friendly with no fur, leather, feathers, or skins. Only one pair have been revealed, a patent red Mary-Jane heel, as shown on the company’s website.

The shoes are a bit spendy, averaging around $200 a pair. However, 5 percent of profits will be donated to charities.

The Natalie Portmans can be ordered online Jan. 15 - otherwise you’ll have to wait until February when they hit shelves.

Amy Winehouse is the New Brigitte Bardot

Tuesday, December 11th, 2007

Karl Lagerfeld is definitely a huge fan of Amy Winehouse’s.

The fashion designer dubbed her the new Brigitte Bardot and says she is a “style icon”.

Lagerfeld says Winehouse’s mile-high beehive inspired his models hairstyles at a recent Chanel show in London. He adds that he admires Amy’s cutting edge style.

He told ContactMusic.com,

“She is a style icon. She is a beautiful, gifted artist. And I very much like her hairdo. I took it as an inspiration. Because, in fact, it was also Brigitte Bardot’s hairdo in the late Fifties and Sixties. And now Amy has made it her own style. So, when I saw her, I knew it was the right moment. Amy… she is the new Brigitte.”

I’d say she’s more like the new Courtney Love mixed with a dash of Keith Richards!

Karl Lagerfield High Fashion

Friday, December 7th, 2007

Does Karl Lagerfield have a closet full of that same outfit? He looks and dresses the same at every event!

I think he is also as high as motherf*cker! You know that bitch snorts his blow from a gold spoon.

Honestly, I think the guy has been dead for a couple years now and they had his body stuffed (that could explain the outfit and shades) so he can still make all of the events and photo ops.

They just unload his body, pose him appropriately and he’s all set! A super cool party fixture and people love taking pictures with him. I want one!
