Feisty female rap artist Foxy Brown was released from prison Friday after spending eight months in captivity.

Brown was sentenced to one year after violating her probation by throwing a Blackberry at a woman and then being involved in a heated altercation at a beauty supply store.

While in prison Brown was sentenced to 76 days in solitary confinement as punishment for fighting with a fellow inmate. She served 40 of those days and was then released for good behavior.

As she exited the prison she told the waiting crowd, “I feel good. I’m back home.”

Brown thanked the people who have supported her and cried as she hugged friends.

Later the diva spoke with the press regarding her time incarcerated. “My family never missed a visit in eight months, ever. I cried coming out. I didn’t cry coming in. There’s a big difference. I believe that God put me there for a reason, Incarceration is serious.” She added that one of the first places she planned on visiting was church. “He got me through,” she said.

Foxy has claimed to be a changed woman in the past but her actions have proved otherwise. It will be interesting to see if she can stay out of trouble this time or if she will fall back into her selfish, short-tempered ways.

A friend of incarcerated rapper Foxy Brown’s says that the pompous diva hasn’t changed a bit and shows no remorse for her prior assaults.

Activist Geoffrey Davis, who has visited Brown at New York’s Riker’s Island prison, says the rap star needs some serious anger management education and adds that she has inmates pamper her and threatens prison officers.

Davis told the New York Post,

“If they release her today, she’ll be back in a week. I love her, and I have her best interests at heart, but I think she needs clinical help with anger management.”

I think what the bitch needs is a good old fashioned ass whooping. Knock the attitude right outta her. She’ll be a nobody soon enough. A forgotten, broke old miserable woman and no one will give a shit.

The cocky, arrogant rapper was given 76 days in a segregated cell on New York City’s largest jail facility, Rikers Island.

Foxy fought with another inmate, was abusive to staff and refused a random drug test.

Foxy Brown was sentenced to ONE YEAR in jail today after violating parole numerous times.

Spokesman Jack Ryan told MTV News that Manhattan Criminal Court Judge Melissa Jackson held a “lengthy” hearing in which she scolded the rapper for not abiding by her probation guidelines, which included attending anger-management classes and regular meetings with a probation officer.

Ryan also said Brown failed to report her arrest in the Brooklyn case and a separate infraction in which the rapper changed her primary address from Brooklyn to a New Jersey address without reporting the switch to the probation office.

“She had a [previous] violation and pleaded guilty and got restored to probation [before],” Ryan explained. “So she had a chance. She just didn’t obey a number of conditions. We told the judge that she was not compliant and the judge decided to terminate her probation and place her in jail.”

If Foxy serves her entire sentence she will give birth in jail! Who’s the bitch now!? If we could just get Paris Hilton to violate her damn parole!

This wasn’t the smartest move for Foxy being as she was already on probation for assault. This bitch just cannot keep her temper in check!

The argument started over Foxy and her obnoxiously loud car stereo. Neighbor Arleen Raymond, 25, told police that Brown has wanted to kick her ass since they were involved in a heated argument over the noise.

Brown apparently went back to harass her neighbor at her place of employment, causing quite a scene.

“Foxy stated in sum and substance, ‘You are a lowlife bitch. Bitch, you work at the pharmacy. You’ll never be nothing!’”

said a law enforcement source. Then Foxy flashed a wad of money in her face. Classy, she is. But Foxy didn’t stop there. A week later as Raymond was walking home from work Brown threw a Blackberry phone at her, hitting her face. Raymond’s lip was cut and a tooth knocked loose.

Foxy Brown’s mama is blaming the incident on the neighbor of course.

“She said, ‘Let’s fight now that you’re alone, b—h.’ My daughter pushed her away and may have brushed her with the phone. She knows something like this could compromise my daughter’s probation so she thinks she’s going to get money out of her, but she’s not going to get a cent.”

Hopefully this latest assault will land the tantrum throwing wannabe diva in jail.

“We have filed a violation of probation with the court,” said Jack Ryan, spokesman for the city Probation Department.

Foxy will face Manhattan Criminal Court Judge Melissa Jackson, who has already warned Brown to stay out of trouble or face a year behind bars. Let’s hope she meant it.

Foxy Brown was attacked Saturday by three of her ex-boyfriend’s female ‘friends’.

The gang of pissed off bitches ripped out her hearing aid and tore her weave out after being told to do so by him. It all went down after Brown dropped off her man at 5:30 a.m. in Brooklyn because she found out he was a pimp. She dumped him off and that’s when he called his bitches to do the beatdown.

A police source said, "They beat her bad. They ripped out her hair weave. Her hair was a mess - and that seems to be what she cared about most."

The women also stole Brown’s handbag and $500. the sources said.
