I Love the 80s!
Stretching back to 1982 it’s the catchy tune “Go!” by Bauhaus spinoff group, Tones on Tail.
‘Tones on Tail’ was created by Daniel Ash of the gothic 80s band Bauhaus along with a friend in 1982. Bauhaus split in ‘83, and drummer Kevin Haskins also joined the new band. It didn’t last long, the band broke up in 1984 shortly before Ash and Haskins went on to form Love and Rockets.
Still, a super groovy party song.. No video, but worth listening to!
I Love the 80s
Ok, I’m a total dork, but I love this song.
Tenderness by General Public, who formed after the 1983 breakup of The English Beat, who were also legendary. This song was featured in the movie Weird Science, which, if you grew up in the 80s you remember fondly.

I Love the 80s
Great interview with Boy George on Late Night with David Letterman back in 1984.
George was only 23-years old but flamboyant as ever. Remember, back in ‘84 it was a different time. Nowadays it would be no big deal to see a star dressed like that but back then, George was a big deal. Even if you didn’t like him, you still couldn’t help but watch him.
This video is great, classic Dave as well.
I Love the 80s
Hysterical!
Ok kiddos, this is going back a whopping 24 years, (1984 for those bad at math) but you old bitches like me just might remember this sh*t. From the band File 13 is the phone sex, new wave, synthesizer club song, ‘Taste So Good’.
Yeah, the 80s had so much crap music, and I loved all of it. I’m so ashamed..
I Love the 80s
A true classic, perfect rainy day music. ‘Under the Milky Way‘ off The Church’s 1988 album, Starfish.
