Even though I don’t live in England I know that Jade Goody caused quite a stir after her appearance on the UK version of the reality show Big Brother.

Sadly, the poor girl was cursed with cervical cancer and it got the best of her. Jade lost her battle with cancer today, at the age of 27.

Although I cannot provide a link of confirmation, the news has been reported on BBC1.

Jade was struggling so hard to stay on this earth so that she could give her children one last Mother’s Day hug. She made it until this very day, but it is with great sadness that she also passed on this day.(Today is Mother’s Day in Britain.)

You know the Greeks didn’t write obituaries, they only asked one question after someone died, ‘Did he/she have passion?’ And yes, I do believe Jade did. Rest in peace, sweet girl.

Someone please tell Ok! Magazine that Jade Goody is not dead yet!

The magazine brazenly published a “Jade Goody Tribute Issue” with the premature dates of “1981-2009″. Yes, Goody is terminal and probably does not have long to live, but damn, what a slap in the face. It’s like they are kicking her into the grave before she is even there. Sad and disgusting. Anything to sell their magazines, right?

Have some decency, bitches.

Sadly, British reality star Jade Goody’s health has taken a turn for the worse.

Her publicist, Max Clifford, told People magazine, “She was hoping to be well enough to see the boys but at the moment she is in a very bad state, she is very unwell.”

He added that she has been unable to spend much time with her boys Bobby, 5, and Freddie, 4, because of her deteriorated state. Husband Jack Tweed, 21, has been by her side.

Goody, 27, left the hospital last Wednesday to return home where she can be surrounded by her family as she lives out her last days.

She has been heavily sedated and is in a coma-like state, unconscious most of the time. When awake she does seem aware of her family.

Clifford says that sadly, Jade’s life is near the end. “A priest came to the house today to sit with her and they all said a few prayers together. It’s just a matter of when.”
