DJ AM Reveals Burns, Will DJ for Jay-Z

DJ AM (Adam Goldstein) was snapped while running errands in Los Angeles recently, and in the photos you can see the extent of his injuries.

AM, who has vowed to never fly again (just like Travis Barker), was spotted with a shaved head and a very burned left arm. He suffered second and third degree burns after last month’s Learjet crash.

Goldstein is excited to return to the stage this week at the Hollywood Palladium – as Jay-Z’s DJ!

AM told People magazine,

“He’s the greatest rapper in the world. This is the biggest thing that’s happened in my career.”

Well, the plane crash didn’t exactly hurt his career. Quite the opposite, I think. I’m sure lots of opportunites and endorsements will follow. And good for him, he deserves it. I always liked AM.

Beyonce and Jay-Z Obtain a Marriage License

Beyonce, 26, and longtime boyfriend, Jay-Z, 38, might be getting hitched sometime in the next couple months.

A source says they filed for a marriage license in the state of New York Tuesday morning. The license is good for 60 days so it looks like nuptials will be happening soon.

Beyonce’s spokesperson is denying the reports.

The couple have been together for six years.

Beyonce is shooting down rumors that her song titled, ‘Ring the Alarm’ is about Jay-Z and Rihanna.

The rumors were spreading around town like wildfire that when Jay-Z signed Rihanna that the two hooked up as well.

Beyonce said, “The rumours that Ring the Alarm is about Jay – those things don’t bother me as much because they’re so silly…It’s kind of obvious, like certain things are just obviously not true. When things are not true, you just don’t really think about it.

“It’s amazing. When you’re a new artist (like Rihanna), people are curious…that just comes with being a beautiful girl and a celebrity. People try to link you up with everybody!”

Don’t you think that Beyonce needs some more hair? She’s a freaking hair farmer! But I will say that she looks fabulous without all the makeup slathered on. Gorgeous skin.

Leonardo DiCaprio, Jay-Z & Will Ferrell Named ‘GQ’ Men Of The Year

Leonardo DiCaprio, Will Ferrell and Shawn ‘Jay-Z’ Carter have all been selected by men’s magazine GQ as its 11th annual “Men of the Year.”

The stars will be featured on the covers of three separate issues, distributed to subscribers randomly and sold on U.S. newsstands nationally from November 21.

DiCaprio was selected for his “leading man” talents, while Ferrell was named “seriously funny” and Carter was dubbed a “Renaissance mogul.”

After creating a huge stir last year by featuring Jennifer Aniston on the cover as the first “woman of the year” for the issue, the magazine decided to stick with men, although Lindsay Lohan is featured inside as 2006’s “Obsession of the Year.”

China Cancels Jay-Z Concert

Jay- Z deemed ‘vulgar’.

“Chinese officials have denied US rapper Jay-Z permission to perform a concert in Shanghai because his music contains too many profane references.
Concert promoter Sun Yun told China’s state-run Shanghai Daily that ministry of culture officials pulled the plug because of Jay-Z’s “vulgar language”.
The event on 23 October would have been the rapper’s debut concert in China.
At a concert in Shanghai in April, the Rolling Stones were asked not to play songs with suggestive lyrics.
Jay-Z is thought to have fallen foul of the Chinese authorities for references to drug dealers, pimps, violence and guns in his music.
Concerts by chart-topping US group The Black Eyed Peas were allowed to go ahead in Beijing, Shanghai and Hong Kong earlier this year, despite the adult nature of some of their songs.”
