Since Nicole Richie and Joel Madden had a baby the question everyone seems to be asking is, ‘When will they get married?’

“Not anytime soon,” Madden, 29, told Usmagazine.com.

The couple do plan on celebrating their first Mother’s Day together though. “I don’t have any [plans] yet but I’m going to plan something special.  She is a great mom, she is super mom,” Joel said on Monday.

Little baby Harlow is a musical girl at heart, apparently taking after her father.  “We turn music on and she can’t stand yet but she definitely tries to dance and move to the beat even though she’s not standing or walking.”

Joel Madden has gone soft since becoming a daddy to baby Harlow Winter Kate Madden.

The first time father can’t help but gush about his new daughter on his DCMA website. He claims to know a whole new love with his child and feels he and Nicole are incredibly lucky parents.

“I had no idea what love even was until Harlow came along. I swear it’s so hard to leave during the day, but always so rewarding to come home to the little family. I’ve always been a guy who loves to love. Probably one of the things that define me outside of my work is LOVE.”

“Me and her mother feel like the luckiest two people alive right now. This time in our life has been amazing. We both look at our little girl every single moment everyday and know there is nothing we wouldn’t do to protect her and her perfect little innocence. It seems like you turn on the TV, or get online, and it’s all bad news.”

Joel Madden took to the internet after his baby daughter was born. Madden gushed about Harlow Winter, who was born last Friday, on his DCMA website.

“I am finally home with my beautiful girlfriend and our brand new little daughter. She is 19 inches long and growing everyday already! We are so blessed to have this beautiful little baby in our lives.”

He adds that the child “looks so much like her mom its crazy!”

“She eats like a little maniac and she’s really sweet. She barely ever cries, even when daddy is changing her diaper, and believe me I suck when it comes to diapers, but I’m learning! I can’t wait to show off some pictures.”

“We apologize we weren’t accepting and gifts/cards/calls at the hospital, but if you’d like to send something, we’d rather you make a donation to the Richie-Madden Foundation, which we started in Harlow Winter’s honor.”

I can’t wait to see the baby. Lucky for her she looks like Nicole rather than Joel. She could have ended up looking like Popeye!

Christina Aguilera and husband Jordan Bratman welcomed a bouncing baby boy on Saturday night.

Max Liron Bratman weighed 6 lbs. 2 oz. and was 20.5 inches long.A rep for the couple said, “He is a beautiful, healthy baby boy! Mom is resting and doing well!”

Christina posted a message on her web site Sunday, “Today is a very joyful and special day for Jordan and I as we welcome our first son into this world…Just a little something to say ‘thank you’ for your undying love and support..It is in no small part because of you that I live such a blessed and wonderful life!”

Nicole Richie and Joel Madden had a little baby girl, Harlow Winter Kate Madden.

The couple’s first child weighed 6-lb., 7-oz.

Madden stated, “We are very blessed she’s healthy and beautiful and so good already. We are very happy.”

Courtney Thorne-Smith and husband Roger Fishman had a baby boy Sunday.

Her publicist told reporters, “The parents are thrilled, and the baby is healthy, well and beautiful.”

This is Courtney’s first child. The couple named their baby Jacob Emerson Fishman.

Stella McCartney gave birth to her third child Tuesday.

She and husband Alasdhair Willis welcomed a baby boy, who they named Beckett Robert Lee Willis.

Mother and son are said to be doing well.

David Alan Grier and wife Christine Kim, became proud parents of daughter, Luisa Danbi Grier-Kim on Thursday.

Danbi means “sweet rain” in Korean. Luisa weighed 7 lbs, 6 oz and is 20 inches long.

Christine said, “She’s amazing. Her looks evolve every moment, and she looks like me and David. I’m feeling euphoric, and David is ecstatic. He’s the perfect proud father.”

Nicole Richie is in labor!

Joel Madden and brother Benji have been seen in delivery area of L.A.’s Cedars-Sinai Medical Center. According to Us Weekly Joel was heard saying, “She’s going to start pushing soon.”

Nicole snuck unnoticed into the hospital sometime this afternoon.

The couple have kept their baby’s sex a secret so it will be a surprised when the child is born.

It’s a Girl!

Joel Madden’s older brother Josh told reporters that Nicole and Joel’s baby is due sometime in the next week.

“That’s all we know. We don’t know what sex it is. We don’t know any names. I’m being completely honest, I swear!…I got them some clothes, that’s what I’m into. We’re very excited.”

I wonder if she’ll have a boy or girl? I’m going to guess a girl. Gut feeling, so I’m probably wrong.

Hopefully she doesn’t name her kid something off-the-wall as has been the trend the past few years with celebrities. Like, ‘Happy Madden’, or ‘Stitch Richie’…

Nicole Richie had a frightening health scare over the Christmas holiday – only weeks before she is due to give birth to her first child.

On December 26th, Richie was at the home of boyfriend, Joel Madden, when she became light-headed and dizzy. Joel rushed her to the hospital where the doctor checked her over and gave her the OK to return home.

A source told Star magazine,

“Her heart was racing – she was swearing and had the terrifying feeling the world was crashing in on her. She was scared to death that her baby’s health was in jeopardy. Thank God Joel was there to take care of her. He immediately called their doctor to say he would bring her in.

She’s been going at a frantic pace for months. Her body let her know it was time to slow down and make the baby’s health her top priority.”

I’m just surprised that she’s only had a couple health scares this entire time. Most of us thought it was practically impossible for her to procreate in the first place!

Nicole Richie’s pregnancy itself has gone amazingly well, but there is something about it that is driving her crazy.

Not finding out the sex of her child.

Richie and boyfriend Joel Madden vowed they would wait until the birth to find out. But Richie says it’s not as easy as she thought it would be.

“We don’t know…We’re waiting to find out, which has been a lot harder on me than it has on Joel because I’m so nosy, I like to know everything. If he wasn’t at every doctor’s appointment, I probably would have found out by now behind his back and not told him. He’s been in the room every time, so I haven’t had a chance to sneak away and ask the doctor.”

The couple is also reportedly having a difficult time agreeing on a name for the child.
