Jennifer & John, back on

Jennifer Aniston and John Mayer are back together – again.

This, according to Us Weekly who says the pair have reunited after nine months apart.

Jen and John have been corresponding via text messages recently and met up at a Four Seasons hotel after having dinner separately on September 22nd.

The Us Weekly sources say:

“He really got to her, and she’s hooked on him. She just can’t let go.”

“They are very close. They remain great friends. He thinks she’s amazing, nice and smart, and he has nothing but respect for her.”

Oh boy, here we go again. I almost feel like a fool for even posting about it because  I’ll probably be posting about their break-up soon enough. Then will come the Brad & Jen are Back Together! rumor….it’s a vicious cycle.

Kristin Cavallari turned down John Mayer.

The Hills star Kristin Cavallari is dishing that she once turned down John Mayer after he asked her out.

Mayer, who is known for romancing female celebs, has dated the likes of Jennifer Aniston, Jessica Simpson, and Jennifer Love-Hewitt. But don’t add Kristin Cavallari to that list…yet.

She spoke with Ryan Seacrest on 102.7 KIIS FM this morning and admitted that she had turned down a date with Mayer, but also explained why.

Kristin Cavallari: “I met him once for literally five minutes.”

Ryan Seacrest: “Did he [Mayer] ask you out?”

KC: “No…[giggle]…yeah.”

RS: “He did ask you out!”

KC: “Yeah.”

RS: “And you said no?”

KC: “Yeah.”

RS: “Why?”

KC: “I just feel like I don’t need to be another notch on his belt.”

KC: “Listen, I think he’s a really nice guy . . . one of my friends is hanging out with him so I don’t go there.”

Kristin went on to say that essentially the reason she turned him down was because one of her friends was involved with him. So really, she didn’t exactly “shoot him down,” like a lot of people are saying. If you listen to the interview [below] you’ll see that towards the end of the conversation she almost sounded like she would consider going out with [*ahem* sleeping with *ahem*] him. Seacrest and his co-host brought up the fact that he brags about how good in bed he is. Who knows, maybe Kristin will reconsider. Heh.

John Mayer performs Human Nature at Michael Jackson’s memorial.

Human Nature is one of my favorite songs, if not THE favorite from the Michael Jackson album, Thriller. John Mayer, although he can be annoying and all, performed the song acoustically and beautifully.

John told the world on his Twitter Monday that he would be performing. He kept it simple and sweet.

“I’m honored to have been asked to play at MJ’s memorial service. I will be representing all of us who can’t be there.”

He also said, “I also want you to know that I’m going not to “perform” but to contribute… Proud to be a musician.”

He performed an impromptu version of Man in the Mirror and danced with some random pickled chick before heading to his car to be driven home.

Is this for real? John sure likes attention. I can’t believe I thought he was hot awhile back. Nowadays he just seems like an egotistical douchebag.

That’s the rumor around town.

I’m almost afraid to even write about it because it will probably end up being untrue, or they’ll just get back together by the weekend or something.

But anyhow as the story goes, John broke it off with Jen when she returned to the country after promoting Marley & Me in Europe. Time will tell, I suppose, whether or not it’s true. Just like the engagement ring rumors earlier this week which proved to be 100% false..

John Mayer recently spoke about Britney Spears saying he would never consider a duet with the pop princess because her lyrics are terrible.

Mayer was actually quite funny when he said,  “I was just talking the other day about how strange the Britney Spears songwriting approach is. Because it’s all about, ‘I’m going out tonight, but nobody look at me.’

“I’ve never met her and I’m not coming down on her, but all of the songs are sort of like, ‘I’m getting all my girls together, we’re gonna go out’ and ‘I’ve got holes cut out for t*ts, I got flashlights on me.’

“And then it’s like, ‘Why’s everybody looking at me? ‘Everybody’s looking at me’ because oh, did you hear verse two, Britney?”

Bwahaha!

I love you, John. Now that we know the boy has brains let’s all gawk at his body, shall we?

John Mayer and Matchbox Twenty singer Rob Thomas joined together to spread holiday cheer to sick children in New York.

The two men performed a private concert at 95.5 WPLJ-FM’s 17th Annual Holiday Concert at Blythedale Children’s Hospital on Monday.

They sang Ben E. King’s Stand by Me and stayed after to sign autographs for the kids.

The event raised approximately $250,000 for the hospital.
