For a long time now, we know that Johnny Depp has what it takes to make the ladies tingle anytime you mention his name. In fact, if you have a vagina, just the fact that I said the name Johnny Depp twice now calls for you to change your panties before you flood wherever it is that you are at this moment. Well, now it isn’t just the women who are getting all kinds of excited at the name Johnny Depp… go ahead, new panties… waiters are getting a little aroused at the mention of him as well.

RadarOnline.com reports that, while in Chicago, Johnny Depp dropped a $4000 tip at the famous steakhouse Gibsons for his waiter. A restaurant spokesperson confirmed that Depp visited their establishment after the PUBLIC ENEMIES red carpet event in town and stayed until 2:30 a.m. eating and drinking with his party of 15, which included director Michael Mann and co-star Marion Cotillard.

Waiter Mohammed Sekhani served the table and dropped off the $4400 bill for food and drink and was left with a tip almost matching the balance due. “Depp is the finest of all the stars that I have ever waited on and he is a true icon, and his ability to respect others is phenomenal. He loves Chicago and Chicago loves him – Johnny Depp is one cool dude.”

It’s amazing the power that Johnny Depp has over people. This guy merely went to work one night to wait some tables, and he came home clearly in love with the actor. That’s what a big tip or repeat viewings of 21 JUMPSTREET will do for you though. It makes me wish I would have followed through on my dream to become a waiter. Okay, okay… it wasn’t my first choice for a dream job. That would be playing centerfield for the New York Yankees… and then, of course second was being a tube handler at a water park… but then third, that was definitely the waiter.

The first official publicity images for Tim Burton’s rendition of “Alice in Wonderland” hit USA Today yesterday, giving you a good look at what to expect when you travel down the rabbit hole once again in March 2010.

The new version will have Alice venturing back to Wonderland 10 years after she left, not remembering anything about this strange and unusual place. It will feature some live action, some CG animation, some motion capture, and 3-D.

Johnny Depp will appear as the Mad Hatter. Helena Bonham Carter will be the Red Queen, and Anne Hathaway and her giant mouth will collaborate together to play the White Queen.

I know that typically any bit of Johnny Depp news gets the ladies pretty excited, but, if you are getting moist with delight over the creepy image of him as the Mad Hatter, then you’ve got problems… serious, serious problems.

Except something dark and creepy and scary, as Wonderland was always intended to be.

If you thought Johnny Depp was dreamy before, just wait until you read Vanity Fair’s new article about the handsome family man.

Depp shares details about his privately owned island and goes on to name the six beaches that he and his family get to enjoy. One beach is named “Gonzo” after the late Hunter S. Thompson, one is named “Brando” and others are named after his family. “Paradis” for his longtime partner Vanessa Paradis, “Lily Rose” after his daughter and “Jack” after his son. Gonzo beach has a special table with Thompson’s face etched into the glass.

Of course if you own your own island you need a yacht. And Depp has one indeed.

His 156-foot, steam-powered boat is named Vajoliroja which is a combination of he and Vanessa’s names. The ship flies both the Jolly Roger and the official Marshall Islands flag.

Depp says of his island paradise: “I don’t think I’d ever seen any place so pure and beautiful. You can feel your pulse rate drop about 20 beats. It’s instant freedom.”

If you happened to be a teenager in the 80s, you will definitely remember ‘21 Jump Street’, starring uber hunk Johnny Depp.

His face was splashed all over Tiger Beat, and girls like me had posters of him in our rooms. He was hot, even then.

As for Brad Pitt, I had no clue who he was at the time, but he was climbing his way up the Hollywood ladder, about to become one of the most famous (and sexiest) celebrities in the world. Who knew he starred in an episode of ‘21 Jump Street’? Not me! Not until I came across this clip, that is.

It’s so funny to look back at shows and photos from the 80s. I don’t remember everyone looking so damned goofy. But we sure as hell did, didn’t we?

This clip is full of mullets, bomber jackets, cotton blazers with loud prints, and Brad looks a little bit like Ellen Degeneres with that hairdo, wouldn’t you say?

Johnny Depp gave his girlfriend of 10-years, Vanessa Paradis, a gift to celebrate the completion of her new album.

And it was no ordinary gift mind you, it was an entire vineyard near the villa in Plan de la Tour, France! The couple also own their own slice of heaven in the Bahamas, an entire 45-acre island in fact. No fancy mansions in the Hollywood Hills or townhouses in New York, this couple really knows how to live.
