The paparazzi had been snapping photos of him while he was trying to relax in a park. Once Laurence lost his cool he started running around with a puffed chest taking photos with his Blackberry.
For some reason or another, this particular camera guy was the one who most angered him.

Laurence Fishburne and architect Frank Gehry smoked some reefer while filming the Matrix in 2000 and then decided to go for a ride on a motorcycle. Not a good idea says Fishburne, who claims he nearly killed the two while driving stoned.
In an interview with Forbes magazine, Fishburne dishes that he and some other people on bikes, whom he won’t name, got ripped just before taking a joy ride.
He claims he rarely smokes weed – so when he did, it was a little more than he expected.
Fishburne says he felt his bike wanting to fishtail but luckily maintained control. However, the experienced scared him.
“I had Frank Gehry, the world’s greatest living architect, on the back of my bike..I started to freak out. It was probably the most foolish thing I ever did on a motorcycle.”
These days he’s a little more careful. “I have a motorcycle prayer that I say before every ride,” he says.
