I knew it was all a sham.

If you remember when Britney Spears first popped onto the scene, she was cute and so naive, and she was everywhere.  Her management obviously tried to paint this ‘perfect American teenager’ image to the public, and they made Britney play the role.

She claimed to be a virgin for like, ever.  Even when she was with Justin Timberlake she claimed to be one.  Anyhow, we were right.  Britney did what other teenagers do, she grew up.  And fast.  But like many child stars, the pressures of ‘being perfect’ took their toll and it obviously had an effect on her.

Sadly, her mother decided to write a book (The Storm: A Real Tale Of Fame And Family In A Tabloid World) about it and put her daughter’s skeleton’s on display.  So like a stage mom, isn’t it?

Lynne claims that Brit started drinking at the tender age of 13, not long after leaving the Mickey Mouse Club.  She also says that her daughter lost her virginity at 14 to some random 18-year-old high school football player, and by 15 Britney was into drugs.

After Lynne caught Britney drinking she says she allowed her to drink as long as she did it at home.

She says while Britney was with Justin she allowed him to sleep in Britney’s bed whenever coming over – because she thought her daughter was in love and that JT was good for her.

She also dishes that Brit was caught boarding a private plane with cocaine and pot when she was only 16.

Lynne claims she is now sorry for the way Britney was exploited but she doesn’t claim to have had any part in it.  She blames it solely on Britney’s management, who controlled her life and sexualized her.

It’s amazing to me that Lynne is trying to wipe her hands of everything in this book.  Oh yeah, and don’t forget she’s selling her daughter out at the same time.  It’s sad.

Was it the money?  The attention?  What makes a parent do that to their child?  Basically give up your parental rights and hand your kid over to Hollywood, and it’s not your fault for letting it happen?  Does she realize what a fool she looks like?

Sad but true story.

Britney Spears‘ mother, Lynne, killed a 12-year-old child in an accident when she was just 20-years-old.

Anthony Winters was killed after Lynne rounded a corner in her hometown of Kentwood, Louisiana striking the boy who was riding a bike with friends in the street. There was oncoming traffic and Lynne could not stop her car in time. She had been on her way to the hospital, taking her brother there for an injury.

Spears’ publicist, Louise Taylor, confirmed the National Enquirer article saying that Lynne is understandably still haunted by the incident and has tried to keep the tragedy out of the papers.

She added, “The boy died at the hospital as a result of his injuries. Lynne, to this day, is grieved by the Winters’ loss of their son.”

Restraining order claims Sam Lutfi drugged Britney

The order filed against Lutfi claims that he kept Britney hopped up on an assortment of prescription drugs while controlling her and emotionally abusing her. TMZ claims he reportedly cut her phone line and hid her phone chargers. He also called her names like a slut, whore, an unfit mother and told her she cares more about Adnan than her own children. (Truth hurts?) Other allegations are that he grinds up her meds and sneaks them in her food and is an all around douche bag.

Sam Lutfi think the restraining order won’t last

It seems the restraining order against Lutfi isn’t concerning him. He says it won’t last and that Britney’s parents won’t have control over her forever. Wait though – he is the one who has had all the control. This guy is like Charlie-f*cking-Manson. Lutfi hasn’t been served with the order yet as lawyers have been unable to reach him.

Adnan kicked out of hospital?

Earlier today, Adnan Ghalib went to visit his meal ticket at UCLA’s medical center and may have been turned away. Other witnesses say he was in the hospital for twenty minutes to a half hour. Lynne Spears is assumed to have been the person behind it, as the family cuts ties with Britney’s acquaintances.

Sam’s Story – Extending His 15 Minutes

Because I Loathe X17, I will link this story instead. Sam Lufti is acting like the big man in charge here. Apparently he and X17 exchanged text messages with Lufti describing how Adnan and Lynne have been in contact for weeks, why the doctor decided to hospitalize Britney – it was NOT a suicide attempt, that doctors are coming to him for information, NOT Adnan or the family and other crap he should be keeping to himself. Why is the loser in contact with the press anyhow? Scumbag parasite.

Bitter Fight Over Britney in Hospital

Apparently Britney gave some control to Sam after her last hospitalization. She had her lawyers outline some papers that made it clear her parents have no say in any medical decisions regarding her. Brit’s dad went ape sh*t and lost it on Lufti in the hospital, screaming and even assaulting him – in front of Britney.

Britney Hadn’t Slept Since Saturday

Britney’s hospital visit is going much smoother for her this time around. She should be staying for approximately 72 hours – possibly longer. She is in much better spirits and has even joked about being committed. She has been seeing a psychiatrist daily and hadn’t slept since last Saturday.

Lynne Wants to Bring Britney Home to Louisianna

As soon as Britney is released Lynne is hoping to take Brit back to her hometown. Lynne wants to get Britney away from Hollywood and away from her circle of hangers-on. Good luck with that, Lynne.

Dr. Phil just can’t keep his fat mouth shut. He was on this mornings The View, talking to the women about Britney’s situation again. He claims that he doesn’t want to be her therapist, he merely wants to help her get the help she needs. He also says he has never – and will never – disclose the personal situations that have taken place between he and the family. He stands by his decision to visit Britney during her last hospitalization, but does regret making statements to the press. Whatever.

During last night’s chaos, publicity whore Bobby Trendy showed up outside Britney’s home claiming he had just woke up and was there to support Britney. He said, “I’m here for Britney…No one’s here but me,” as he paraded around in F-me boot, lipgloss and a cape while clutching his tiny dog. Everyone wants a piece of the action.

Is Britney Spears‘ family finally coming together to stage an intervention? It appears this is the case, as her parents, sister, cousin and friends were all spotted at her home last night night.

“If it happens,” it should happen this week. Last night, Brit’s mom, Lynne, her dad, Jamie, cousin Alli, as well as Sam Lutfi and Adnan Ghalib all showed up at Britney’s house and were all there at the same time.

Brit’s mom and dad (and others) have known for months that a bipolar disorder — and not substance abuse — is at the root of her problems. They cannot involuntarily commit her (impossible under these circumstances) and Brit has refused to voluntarily enter a hospital or even undergo evaluation for the problem. But now the plan is underway.

Here’s what’s significant: Britney has not spoken to her mom for a while — no contact at all. Last night, Britney and Lynne (along with Sam) left the house at one point and went to the drugstore, so it seems they are now interacting.

There were signs last night that Britney didn’t feel as warm toward her dad, that she didn’t want anything to do with him.

This move has been in the planning stages for well over a month. It should begin to unfold IF Britney cooperates, and that is the wild card.

BTDub, this “creative” intervention is different from what her divorce lawyers pitched to Commissioner Scott Gordon last week. They are not involved in this one.

This would be great news, if Britney would agree and then commit to something, but why is it I don’t see this happening?  She can’t even show up to court for her own children. Why would she do anything to help herself? I do hope she gets the help she needs, but I don’t have faith that will happen.  Don’t hold your breath..

Her daughters’ erratic and shocking behaviors have caused Lynne Spears to delay her book on parenting.

A spokesman for the publisher says, “The book is delayed indefinitely. It’s delayed, not canceled.”

The inspirational book was to hit shelves the spring 2008 and has been described as, “Lynne Spears’s personal story of raising high-profile children while coming from a low-profile Louisiana community.”

It is unknown if publication will be modified before it’s release.

“We are standing behind Lynne at this time and understand that she needs time with her family – we support that,” says the spokeswoman.

Uh yeah, I would say timing the book release with her 16 year-old’s pregnancy wouldn’t be the best idea. In fact, I’d say scrap the whole project! She’s not exactly the role model parent with some inspiring story to tell!

Oh boy…so Jamie Lynn Spears is pregnant. At age 16.

And we had such high hopes for the younger Spears! Now she’ll probably end up like Britney in another year or two. It’ll all start with her smoking cigarette’s and walking into public bathrooms with bare feet, no bra and a hippie skirt on.

Nickelodeon is backing Spears, and they released a statement saying, “We respect Jamie Lynn’s decision to take responsibility in this sensitive and personal situation. We know this is a very difficult time for her and her family, and our primary concern right now is for Jamie Lynn’s well being.”

Yeah right. Bet they can’t wait to dump her ass.

Jamie Lynn and her mother Lynne decided to break the news to OK! magazine first.

Jamie Lynn is reportedly 12 weeks along and the father is her boyfriend Casey Aldridge. Jamie Lynn told OK!, “It was a shock for both of us, so unexpected. I was in complete and total shock and so was he.”

She explained to the magazine that she had first taken a home pregnancy test and then headed to the doctor for absolute confirmation. She says she only told one person, a friend, then waited two more weeks before telling anyone else, including her mother and big sister Britney. She broke the news just before Thanksgiving.

“I needed to work out what I would do for myself before I let anyone’s opinion affect my decision. Then I told my parents and my friends. I was scared, but I had to do what was right for me.”

Lynne Spears says she was also shocked by the news. “I didn’t believe it because Jamie Lynn’s always been so conscientious. She’s never late for her curfew. I was in shock. I mean, this is my 16-year-old baby.”

So what do you think – will Jamie Lynn be a better mother than Britney? I don’t see how she could be worse! But hell, 16 years old is pretty damn young to be having kids. Hopefully she will rise to the occasion (and daddy too) and be a great parent. Who knows, maybe Jamie Lynn’s pregnancy will actually help Britney to get her shit together since she’ll have someone she can be a mommy with now.

But probably not. Heh.

Back when Britney was on top of the world

Reporters ran into Lynne Spears yesterday as she was Kentwood, Louisiana cruising around town in her white Mercedes.

She told them,

“I just want to say, I love my daughter very much.”

Lynne refused to answer any questions about her daughter.

It’s been reported that Lynne may be looking to seek custody of Britney’s two boys. Lynne has been in constant contact with Kevin Federline since Britney went off the deep end at the beginning of the year. Kevin has been her lifeline when it comes to her grandchildren.

Lynne and Britney haven’t spoken in months.
