I just had to watch this years show being as it was hosted by Sarah Silverman.

And she didn’t disappoint.

The highlight of the evening for me was Sarah’s opening monologue.  Specifically when she mocked Paris Hilton going to jail..

"In a couple of days Paris Hilton is going to jail.  (laughter erupts) The judge says that it’s going to be a no frills thing, and that is totally ridiculous.  She is totally going to get special treatment.  In fact, I heard in order to make her feel more comfortable in prison the guards are gunna paint the bars to look like penises."

The audience roars..

"I think it’s wrong too.  I just worry that she is going to break her teeth on those things."

The crowd goes wild. Cameras cut to Paris looking pissed but forcing a smile…

Heh.

The couple was seen yesterday in Los Angeles kissing after breakfast.

Mandy spoke with Jane Magazine (February issue) about her recent bout with depression.

“A few months ago I felt really low, really sad. Depressed for no reason. I’m a very positive person, and I’ve always been glass-half-full, so it was like someone flipped a switch in me. I wanted to figure out why.”

Moore says that her recent breakup with Zach Braff certainly didn’t help things.

“The breakup added to what I was going through, but it’s not the complete reason. It definitely doesn’t help if you’re already in that place.”

Braff has also gone public about mild depression he has suffered.

Mandy goes on to apologize to fans for her earlier music and adds that she’s sorry to those “people (who) wasted their money on such trite, blah pop music.”

“I’ve been going through this really crazy time in my life — it’s what I imagine people fresh out of college go through,” she says. “I’m asking myself life-altering questions, like `Who am I? Where do I fit in this world? What am I doing, what do I want to do? Am I living to my full potential?’ “

Mariah Carey is the latest celebrity to develop her own perfume.
Mariah is actively involved with the production of the new scent and is having fun with the experimenting.
“It’s been an amazing and creative process,” she said. “You sit down with the ‘juice’ companies, and then they show you the different scents. You then compose the scent.”
We’ve heard the scent smells an awful lot like bacon..

Tickets go on sale tomorrow for the concert organized by Princes William and Harry to mark the 10th anniversary of Princess Diana’s death.
Pharrell Williams, the English National Ballet and Sir Elton John are all to perform at the concert, which will take place at Wembley Stadium on July 1, the date of Diana’s 46th birthday.
Prince William said, “We both wanted to put our stamp on it. We want it to represent exactly what our mother would have wanted…We wanted to have this big concert full of energy, full of the sort of fun and happiness, which I know she would have wanted. And on her birthday as well, it’s got to be the best birthday present she ever had.”
Sir Elton John added: “I applaud Princes William and Harry for choosing to honour their mother with this concert. I am absolutely thrilled to be performing at this great event. Diana was a personal friend and someone I greatly admired for her tireless and enthusiastic work for charity.”

Natalie Portman has been acting a diva at her hotel in Folkestone, Kent (England) while filming The Other Boleyn Girl with Scarlett Johansson.
A staff member told the Mirror that she had made many demands such as asking the hotel bar to be closed at 10pm so customers wouldn’t disturb her when she wanted a cocktail.
However, Portman’s 5am yoga sessions disturbed sleeping guests. The member of staff added, “We were relieved when she left.”

Are Mandy Moore and Andy Roddick dating again? The ex-couple were looking quite comfortable together at a charity event in Florida over the weekend. Andy recently told People magazine: “We’re cool. We’re doing fine now. She’s a good girl, and it says a lot about her to come out tonight.”
