Marcia Cross’ Husband Diagnosed with Cancer

Marcia Cross’ husband of two years, Tom Mahoney, 51, has been diagnosed with cancer.

Cross’s publicist confirmed the news. “He is currently under treatment and is responding very well.”

The couple have fraternal twin daughters, Eden and Savannah, who are almost 2-years-old.

No further details of Mahoney’s condition have been released.

“Desperate Housewives domestic dominatrix Bree Van de Camp should have taught her alter ego Marcia Cross a little something about trash disposal. Because the Wisteria Lane lady would NEVER have put 200 nude photos of herself in the garbage! Apparently, the Marlboro homegal tossed out the sexy snaps, and her tax returns, in the rubbish bin, which was picked up by a removal service. The Hollywood hauler, discovering sheer gold in his garbage pick-up, hired celebrity-smut purveyor David Hans Schmidt to peddle the snaps around. “There are some pictures of her showering outside,” Schmidt told the New York Daily News. “She looks absolutely Cross’ attorneys insist the erotic portraits, some of which were snapped in an outdoor shower by the actress’ hubby, Tom Mahoney, were accidentally tossed out and are the copyrighted property of the couple. However, Schmidt – who most recently peddled “Saved by the Bell” geek Dustin Diamond’s sex tape – argues that “when you throw something away, you forfeit that property.” The agent added that he’s invited Cross to buy back her trash for a price he refuses to disclose. He did reveal that her reps have balked at his proposed number. “I’m not looking to mortify Ms. Cross,” Schmidt said. “I just want the most money for my client.” However, the agent refuses to reveal the numbers on the actress’ tax returns. “Out of respect for Ms. Cross I won’t discuss (her earnings),” he told the Daily News.

Puffy, Puff Daddy, P. Diddy, Diddy. What next? Sean Combs has agreed to drop the ‘Diddy’ name due to an out-of court legal settlement with London-based music producer Richard “Diddy” Dearlove. Combs will have to “rebrand his commercial activities” in the U.K. and would “no longer be able to trade as ‘Diddy.”’ Diddy Dearlove was quoted as saying, “I started getting e-mails from Puerto Rican girls asking if they could be in my video and people were asking me to look at their clothing line.” After it was all said and done Diddy Dearlove says he was “happy and relieved.” “It doesn’t matter how big people become, this is my name. I’ve been successful too. I’m not a global megastar, but what I do is valid.”

Keane has cancelled their entire American tour, due to singer Tom Chaplin’s ongoing rehab treatment in London. Says bandmate Tim Rice-Oxley, “Obviously it’s crucial that Tom is given the time to get better properly…With the first dates in America only a fortnight away, his doctors feel there is undue pressure on Tom to rush through rehab and get back out on the road…That’s why, between the three of us, we’ve decided to cancel the North American tour. We’d like to apologize to the fans who’ve bought tickets, but we’ve done this in the best interests of our friend – which ultimately, is in the best interests of the band too.”

Matt Groening rocks. He says there is no end in sight for The ‘Simpsons’, according to ‘Digital Spy’. He says he still loves making the show and is glad that people still love it, even after 18 seasons. Groening goes on to say, “My attitude at this point is, as long as the people who work on the show are having a good time, let’s keep doing it. We’ve always tried to entertain ourselves and figured that the outside world would be entertained if we were making ourselves laugh…The people currently on staff are determined not to be the staff that caused the show to crash and burn. But also to try to top ourselves.”

Marcia Cross’ Desperate Housewives character, Bree, will also be expecting a little one. This news according to Eva Longoria “They are writing it in,” she told ‘Access Hollywood. She also adds, “Who knows who is going to knock her up on our show!” It won’t be who you think.

Marcia will give birth about the time ‘Desperate Housewives’ wraps taping for the season.
