Remember when I used to do those Conan O’Brien-ish ‘If They Mated’ posts? If you have read the Smack long enough, you’ll recall.

Well, David over at Pretty on the Outside came up with a genius rendition of Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon morphed together. I’d like to think this is the lovechild of the two. Isn’t she/he gorgeous? Heh.

Latina.com is reporting that Mariah Carey, 38, and Nick Cannon, 27, were married yesterday on a small island in a very “spontaneous” ceremony.

A few close friends, including rapper Da Brat, attended the small wedding.

This is Mariah’s second marriage and Nick’s first.

Mariah Carey revealed to OK! magazine recently that she’s never had the desire to have children.

“It’s hard to have kids in this world. I don’t think I could properly educate a child right now. Maybe in the future, but I actually haven’t thought about it.”

She goes on to say that her Jack Russell Terrier is as close as she will get to being a mother.

“For now, I enjoy my dog Jack’s company. It’s definitely because of childhood traumatic stuff. The whole not wanting to have a baby as a baby. I never wanted to feel violated and I know that’s a kind of weird thing to say, but that’s how I am.”

I know Mariah is a total pain in the ass diva, but I can’t fault her on this one. Mostly because I can partially relate.

I can’t believe I just said that.

I, too, have never had the desire to have a kid, and there’s nothing wrong with that - even though society would like to tell you there is.

Besides, thank goodness the bitch isn’t going to spawn a little primadonna. People who are as narcissistic as Mimi shouldn’t have children. Maybe she’s actually smarter than I give her credit for..

Mariah Carey is reportedly dating actor Nick Cannon but the couple are trying their best to keep it under wraps.

The couple met after Mariah hired Nick to star in one of her new music videos.

A source tells the National Enquirer, “Mariah is the master when it comes to keeping her relationships secret. Even though she’s a big star, she likes to keep her private life to herself.”

It looks like Mariah Carey will be Janet Jackson’s replacement this weekend on Saturday Night Live.

Jackson was hospitalized on Monday with a terrible case of the flu and is too ill to make her scheduled appearance.

With the release of her new album “E=MC²”, Mariah Carey is everywhere these days.

Allure magazine is featuring the pop star diva on the cover of their April issue. Carey, who has been criticized in the past for her heavily doctored album covers, The Emancipation of Mimi namely, is once again shown airbrushed to the hilt.

The ‘artist’ was quite heavy handed and managed to completely erase Mariah’s cheeks as well as chisel her nose and chin.
