Mel Gibson’s girlfriend Oksana Grigorieva is pregnant with the couple’s first child.

Gibson’s estranged wife, Robyn, filed for divorce last month after almost 29 years of marriage.

Grigorieva is said to be in her second trimester.

Mel has reportedly informed his ex-wife and seven children of the news.

Interestingly enough, Oksana recently was shacked up in a home that producer David Foster had set up for her. Nowadays Oksana is living large in a house that Mel pays for.

Mel Gibson and new girlfriend Oksana Grigorieva attended the X-Men Origins: Wolverine screening in Los Angeles last night.

This is the first public appearance for the couple since Gibson’s wife filed for divorce two weeks ago.

Mel’s publicist says that he is happy in his new relationship with the Russian singer, 39. “Mel has been single for almost three years and it’s nice to see him getting out and enjoying himself.”

A source says, “They came in quietly and as under-the-radar as they could and they were pretty low-key. Mel seemed very comfortable.”

Gibson and estranged wife, Robyn Denise Moore, have seven children together and have been married since 1980. The couple went their own ways three years ago.

Oksana Pochepa, a Russian pop star, is Mel Gibson’s young flame who’s coming forward with details of her love affair with the actor.

Pochepa, 24, has been bragging to the press about her relationship with Mel, whose wife of 28-years just filed for divorce.

Oksana says she is in love with Mel and is hopeful that their union will be “strong and long-lasting.”

The couple met last August when Oksana was hired to create a song for Gibson’s Edge of Darkness. Sources say that the couple spent a lot of time in Gibson’s trailer together. They were also spotted in Mexico together where Mel was directing one of her videos.

She is citing irreconcilable differences.

Rumor has it that the couple have been on the verge of a split since Mel’s 2006 arrest for driving under the influence. There are also rumors about a possible mistress of Mel’s.

The couple released the following joint statement:

“Throughout our marriage and separation we have always strived to maintain the privacy and integrity of our family and will continue to do so.”

Friends say the couple have been estranged for two years. They have no prenuptial agreement and were married before Mel was a mega star.

The couple have seven children, but only one who is a minor, Tom, who will be 10 tomorrow.

Britney Spears, her father Jamie and Mel Gibson are all headed to Costa Rica for a vacation!

The three left for Central America in a private jet at approximately 9:00am this morning. Mel invited Britney and her father to stay with his at his home there.

Britney is supposed to get approval before leaving the country due to her child custody battle, and although she does not have her children with her, it’s not known if she abided by those rules. But if her dad went with her, I would think in order to not complicate the case they would have covered their bases. I’m sure TMZ or someone will find out soon enough though. Because you know that if she didn’t get permission, it’s going to be the latest Britney controversy. Always something..

Neither Mel Gibson nor Britney Spears is a stranger to controversy. So when the two dined together this weekend, people took notice.

Gibson and Spears met at the upscale Russian restaurant, Romanov, where they dined and visited for two hours.

The meeting has everyone wondering, what could the two possibly be discussing?

A source told OK! magazine that it’s likely that Mel is simply giving Britney some advice on how to handle negative press. “He understands what she’s going through. And he certainly has advice on how to not let it destroy your life.”

It’s also rumored that Mel may be trying to persuade Britney to join his conservative church in Malibu, the Church of the Holy Family. Britney has a past of being fickle when it comes to religion.

In 2006 Mel said of Britney, “I feel compassion for someone like Britney. She never gets a moment. Your heart goes out to her because I’m positive that, at her core, she’s a good woman.”

Once upon a time, Mel Gibson and Heath Ledger were very close. The two bonded while shooting the film ‘The Patriot’ where Ledger played Gibson’s son.

However, that all changed after Ledger took a role in the controversial gay film, ‘Brokeback Mountain’.

Private investigator Paul Barresi claims that a “major Hollywood producer” told him that Ledger asked Gibson for advice about the role and Mel told him to pass. When Ledger went ahead with the film Gibson wasn’t too happy about it.

“Ledger asked Gibson whether he should take the role of Ennis Del Mar in ‘Brokeback’. Gibson strongly counseled against it. The role apparently ran counter to Gibson’s morality. And he felt that it would ruin Heath’s career.”

“When Gibson parted ways with Heath, it broke his heart,” claims Barresi.

Ironically, Ledger received an Oscar nomination for the edgy role. When asked why he accepted it, the late actor replied, “it was kind of a reaction against the comparison that I’m the new Mel Gibson.”

Painter Carmel Sloane, 29, is claiming that Mel Gibson is her father. She says that he and her mother got it on in the backseat of a car before he was a big star.

She is asking that Mel take a paternity test, but insists that she is not doing it for publicity or money. She says that she merely wants Mel to recognize her and her son as ‘family’.

“I would like him to know he has a grandson who is a great kid. He is very bright and creative. He would be proud of him,” she said. “I’m not doing it for his money. I just want to meet the man I’ve always known was my dad — and for him to get to know his grandson.”

“I’d love it if he recognised us as family. I’m not looking for a meal ticket. I am happy with my life. I would love to meet him but I wouldn’t expect to be part of his life. I’m not looking for a piece of the pie or that lifestyle.”

Legal papers will be served to Mel sometime this week.
