Mickey Rourke at Voyeur nightclub supposedly dressed as The Joker for Halloween.

Am I missing something? Because I don’t remember Heath Ledger’s Joker looking anything like this.

Just what the hell is Mickey? Dead Mickey? I see his eyes have Alice Cooper makeup, at least from what I can tell from underneath the glasses. Can anyone fill me in on this, because the paparazzi agency MUST be wrong about this. There is no way he is The Joker!

Mickey Rourke, simply put, is a man’s man.

Celebrities like Tom Cruise have paraffin soft hands with no calluses and perfectly manicured nails. But a man like Mickey Rourke has man’s hands. Tattoos, scars, a little blood, it’s all good.

He’s physically not the best looking man in Hollywood, no doubt. I mean the man looks like he injected cooking oil into his own face. (God bless ya, Mick!) However, he does have swagga. The women love him – and the men most certainly know better than to f*** with him. His career is sort of ironic, because he’s very anti-Hollywood. He’s a loner, and to some extent, an outcast. But that’s why I like him.

At the moment, there’s no bigger bad boy in Hollywood than Mickey Rourke.

Mickey, the dog loving, leather clad, velvet wearing has-been who’s made quite an impressive comeback. Those grandpa slippers have to go though, Mickster. They are so not conducive to your badboy image!

Despite the bad plastic surgery and stringy hair, he is a ladies man. He’s often spotted out at clubs with a smoke in one hand and sometimes a female companion in the other. However, he’s too cool to hold hands with the woman he is with, mind you. And If you’re taking his photo, he might just flip you the bird. But if you’re really lucky, he’ll bite the head off a rose…just because he’s cool like that.

Mickey Rourke spotted at Alto Nightclub in Soho (London) being dwarfed by his tall and leggy blonde date, Kristina.

They arrived at 1:30 AM and left two hours later. Kristina tried to link arms with Mickey but he told her he didn’t want to be photographed like that and walked off ahead of her.

Ha! Diss!

On a side note, girlfriend is sort of freaking me out with that intent gaze!

Mickey Rourke, as much as I love you, will you puh-leese cut that stringy mop on top of your head?

I know you’re a rebel and all, but a nice SHORT cut would truly make you look younger and maybe even a tad good looking. I think people would take you more serious as well. Not that any of those things matter to you..I’m just sayin’.

P.S. I think you should get some new ink to cover those old prison-grade tats, too!

R.I.P. Loki, Mickey Rourke’s Chihuahua

One of the reasons I love the quirky and eccentric Mickey Rourke is because he is a total dog lover, like me.

But sadly, one of Rourke’s longtime companions, a Chihuahua named Loki passed away Monday. She was reported to be 17-years-old. He called Loki the “love of my life” last September.

During his recent Golden Globe’s acceptance speech, the actor thanked his faithful pets saying, “I’d like to thank all my dogs, the ones who are here and the ones who aren’t here anymore. Sometimes, when a man is alone, that’s all you got is your dog. And they’ve meant the world to me.”

Awwwhhh! I just think that is the sweetest thing ever.

Rourke spoke with Barbara Walters recently and explained his love of animals. He said, “I sort of self-destructed and everything came out about 14 years ago or so…the wife had left, the career was over, the money was not an ounce. The dogs were there when no one else was there.”
