Britney Spears at 50 Cent’s record release party at The Hard Rock Casino in Las Vegas

Britney Spears doesn’t seem to be worried about whether or not she will wow everyone at the opening of this years MTV Video Music Awards.

Britney hung out with fellow party girl Paris Hilton, as well as P. Diddy and 50 Cent after checking out Cirque du Soleil’s Mystere show.  She hit at least three Vegas clubs, dancing, drinking and partying until after 3 am.

Will all the cigarettes booze and late nights compromise her performance tonight?  My guess is that she will lip-sync, and that no, it will not jump start a comeback for her.

Frankie Abernathy from MTV’s Real World San Diego has died at the age of 25.

Frankie had Cystic Fibrosis, Mucoviscidosis. She was born on July 5th, 1981 and raised in Blue Springs, Missouri.

Bunim-Murray Productions and MTV have no comment at this time.

Amy Winehouse and her new husband had quite the fight just hours after her performance at the 2007 MTV Movie Awards.

British newspaper the Daily Mirror obtained photos of the argument between Winehouse and Blake Fielder-Civil outside Hollywood’s five-star Sunset Marquis Hotel.

A source tells the Daily Mirror, "As soon as they walked into the lobby they started screaming at each other. Amy was shouting: ‘You always f**king do this! Don’t f**king touch me! F**k you! They were on the curb for over an hour, sobbing and talking. They looked exhausted by the time they finally went to their room."

"She was in tears but Blake tried to walk away. It wound her up so much she pushed him in a hedge."

Amy had a bad night at the MTV Music Awards. Sources say that she seemed to have a hard time walking a straight line was leaning on her husband as they strolled across the red carpet..

Amy sang Rehab and was booed by the crowd. Reportedly Cameron Diaz, Victoria Beckham and Sacha Baron-Cohen were among those giving her hell.

I just had to watch this years show being as it was hosted by Sarah Silverman.

And she didn’t disappoint.

The highlight of the evening for me was Sarah’s opening monologue.  Specifically when she mocked Paris Hilton going to jail..

"In a couple of days Paris Hilton is going to jail.  (laughter erupts) The judge says that it’s going to be a no frills thing, and that is totally ridiculous.  She is totally going to get special treatment.  In fact, I heard in order to make her feel more comfortable in prison the guards are gunna paint the bars to look like penises."

The audience roars..

"I think it’s wrong too.  I just worry that she is going to break her teeth on those things."

The crowd goes wild. Cameras cut to Paris looking pissed but forcing a smile…
