Naomi Campbell’s former personal assistant has committed suicide by jumping off a bridge to her death.

Jade Bien-Aimee Sutherland, assistant, stylist and celebrity shopper was found dead under a bridge in London near her residence. She was 28.

She quit working for Campbell last year after the two had a fight and was later seen crying on the streets of L.A.

Sutherland was born a male but underwent a sex change. Her boyfriend had died of pneumonia ten days before.

She wrote an email to friends saying, “He’s now gone, I’m all alone, my heart is empty, my life is empty. I don’t think life’s worth living after losing a close one.”

Sharon and Kelly Osbourne were among those who attended Sutherland’s funeral in London’s Piccadilly.

Naomi Campbell had quite the exciting night out Monday while attending the Led Zeppelin show in London.

Not only did she have her Blackberry stolen, she was also assaulted by a random drunk guy who ripped the VIP pass right off her neck.

An eyewitness tells the Daily Mail,

“This guy, who looked a bit drunk, ran up alongside Naomi and tried to lift the passes from around her neck but it got tangled in her scarf and hair.

He yanked the pass quite forcefully which dragged her down, half throttling her, before security stepped in. She was screaming ‘He’s got the pass’ but it sounded as if she was being choked. The guy eventually got the pass and ran off. Naomi looked very shaken.”

Damn, where were the paparazzi when this happened? I’m disappointed! That’s one bitch I would love to see someone get the better of!

“Supermodel Naomi Campbell was released on bail on Thursday after being arrested in London on suspicion of assault, police said.
“The 36-year-old woman … has been bailed to return to a London police station on a later date in October,” a police spokeswoman said.
The spokeswoman declined to name Campbell because no charges had been filed, but the comments were in response to media reports the model had been arrested and freed on bail.
Wednesday’s arrest occurred after a woman went to police alleging she had been attacked at a residence in London, a police spokesman said earlier.
“Officers attended the address. A women aged 36 was arrested … for an alleged assault and taken to a central London police station,” he said.
Campbell’s spokesman said the model had done nothing wrong.
“We believe there has been a misunderstanding,” he told the Sun newspaper. “Once police have investigated we are sure this will be resolved.”
London-born Campbell is no stranger to controversy. She has blamed her hot temper on lingering resentment towards her father for abandoning her as a child.
Spotted on the streets of London’s Covent Garden tourist area when she was 15, Campbell was the first black model to appear on covers of the French and British editions of Vogue magazine.
She has acted in several films and launched her own cosmetics range.”

Judge will issue a bench warrant “next time”.

“A New York judge today warned the supermodel Naomi Campbell that he would issue a warrant for her arrest if she failed to arrive at court next month.
The threat came after the British model failed to arrive for a hearing at Manhattan criminal court over accusations that she had thrown a mobile phone at her housekeeper’s head.
Ms Campbell’s lawyer, David Breitbart, said her absence was not due to professional reasons, but refused to explain further. Prosecutors told the court that discussions on a possible plea bargain were continuing, and the case was adjourned until November 15. A bench warrant was stayed, but Judge James Gibbons said it would take effect if Ms Campbell did not turn up on that date.
“I want to make it clear that she is absolutely obliged to appear at the next hearing,” he said. “If she fails to appear on that court date, the warrant will go into effect.”
