Dr. Phil and his talk show are once again at the center of a heated debate.

Eight teenagers between the ages of 14 and 18 brutally lured and then attacked a 16 year-old girl who was a former friend of theirs because they say she was talking trash about them on the internet. The girls savagely punched and beat the girl while videotaping the attack in hopes of posting the footage on YouTube.

They did, and they got what they wanted, an assload of attention.

But as the nation watched the film aghast at the savageness of the attack, a producer for the Dr. Phil show was busy bailing out the apparent ‘ringleader’ in order to get exclusive coverage of the story.

D. Phil’s rep spoke in his defense Saturday saying, “We have helped guests and potential guests in the past when they need financial assistance to come on the show – assisting with clothing allowance, lost wages, accommodations, travel and necessities. In this case, certain staff members went beyond our guidelines.”

The attack lasted more than 30 minutes and the victim is now struggling with hearing loss, blurred vision and a swollen face.

The suspects, who range in age from 14 to 18, all face charges of kidnapping, which is a first-degree felony, and battery, said Chip Thullbery, a spokesman for the Polk County state attorney. Three of them are also charged with tampering with a witness.

Everyone involved in the case was under a gag order imposed by a judge. The only attorney for the teens who has been publicly identified did not return calls from CNN, and his assistant cited the gag order as the reason. The teens are scheduled for their first appearance in court Friday.

Wow, these little jealous bitches need to learn a lesson here and serve as an example to all the other little f*ckwads who think it’s OK to assault people. Especially with the sole intent to videotape it so they can have bragging rights.

Shame on you Dr. Phil and your show. He acts like he knew nothing about bailing the little twat out, like it was all the fault of a producer. Whatever. The producer is just the one taking the fall. I’m sure there was someone above him who approved it, and that might even have been Phil himself.

I love how the mother of the bailed teen cries and complains about not having the money to bail her daughter out. I tell you what. If that little bitch was MY daughter I would be thankful I didn’t have the money to bail her out, because I would probably beat her ass if she did get out. And I certainly wouldn’t allow someone else to pay her bail. I would be ashamed of her and would expect her to serve whatever time needed in order to pay her consequences for such a heinous act.

Am I wrong? WTF is wrong with parents these days? You are NOT protecting your kids by letting them off easy!

Gloria Allred is set to represent the victim in this case. Go Gloria. I love it. If the bullies families don’t have money to make bail, I can’t wait to see how hard it’s going to be to find a good attorney.

Some lovely hump day news to make your head spin…

An Oregon man who claims to have been a woman before a sex change operation says he is pregnant.

He claims he kept his female reproductive parts and has posted photos on Advocate.com trying to prove he really is with child. He says he is due sometime in July.

His neighbors think it’s a hoax. One man claimed to have seen him a couple days before and said he did not have the preggo belly going on.

Let’s hope he’s right! I am so confused! I thought when a woman becomes a man that most definitely the ovaries and uterus would be taken out. Not so? Oh wait, I have seen those creepy porn freaks on the internet with boobs and penises before… Oh, this whole conversation is just not right!

Anyhow, bottom line is, it’s 99.9999% likely that it’s a crock of sh*t. Don’t believe the hype.

Ok, first of all, to clarify the Mother’s Day thing, it’s actually, ‘Mothering Sunday‘ this upcoming Sunday in the UK. So don’t start bombarding me with emails about how Mother’s Day is a couple months away.

I had to post this picture, because I have mixed feelings on PETA. I know a lot of you hate the organization because almost every time they are in the media and are mentioned on Celebrity Smack - I get emails. They are radical, and I think it is their downfall.

Most of you know I am, like, the hugest animal lover ever. I mean, I have to turn the channel every time that commercial with Sarah McLaughlin comes on..heh. It’s that bad. But I have a hard time supporting PETA because they always embarrass themselves with their extreme publicity stunts. On the flip side, if an animal benefits from it, then who cares if you embarrassed yourself, right?

Sometimes in this world you have to do something crazy to get noticed. But is their point getting across to anyone? You have to wonder.

For example, this photo. Are people going to walk away from this display remembering that pigs are being crammed into extraordinarily cramped spaces - or that they saw a chubby naked chick on all fours in public today? I’m going with the latter. This is why I tend to support local shelters/rescues instead of PETA.

I think that if they were less fanatical they would have a warmer reception from the public. It’s too bad really, because I think they could have a lot more support if they were a kinder, gentler organization.

In Myrtle Beach, SC recently welcomed the Republican and Democratic primary debates to its shores with Mount Rushmore-like sand sculptures of each of the participating candidates.  A mysterious “third sand sculpture” appeared in Myrtle Beach, SC this week.

Residents of Myrtle Beach were shocked to see this third sculpture appear. Some speculate that the sand creation is of fallen Presidential hopeful Stephen Colbert, others insist it is Abe Lincoln.

Meet Eddie. Eddie is a rescue dog that my husband and I adopted this weekend. He’s about 8 months old and is an American Bulldog mix.

Eddie was abused and used as ‘bait’ in dog fighting. He was found in a parking lot, nearly dead. That was a couple months ago, and he has since been nursed back to health by a rescue shelter foster family. For the first month Eddie refused to move or interact with anyone.

Eddie is doing much better these days and is loving his new home. He’s comical! He sleeps in goofy positions and is totally uncoordinated. He’s a little scarred up but fortunately has recovered nicely.

He needs a lot of training and love, but we have a lot of patience for this little guy.

Just thought I would introduce him since many of you already know my other superstar, Lucy Liu.
