Melissa Weber, a social studies teacher at a Queens middle school, has been arrested for having sex with one of her students.

Weber, 27, began seducing the 14-year-old boy beginning on April 13th and it continued until May 14th. Within that time the pair met on seven different occasions.

Their secret was discovered after the boy’s mother, a PTA member, overheard a rumor about her son and the teacher possibly having sexual relations. The mother looked through her son’s cell pone and discovered numerous text messages from Weber. One of the messages asked the boy to erase what she had sent him for fear of her losing her teaching license or going to jail.

Thursday morning mom marched her son into the police department with the phone evidence in hand.

Weber is now in jail and is waiting to be arraigned on charges of rape and sexual abuse. If convicted she faces up to seven years in prison.

Red Bull is being banned from shelves in Germany after testing found traces of cocaine in the product.

Six German states are pulling the energy drink after a “sample test conducted by authorities in North Rhine-Westphalia state found 0.4 micrograms per liter in the drink.”

Red Bull is fighting back saying that it’s product is “harmless and marketable in both the U.S. and Europe.”

A coca leaf extract is used to flavor the beverage. The cocaine levels are extremely low and officials say Red Bull should not pose a health risk but may violate the country’s narcotics laws.

Well, no wonder Lindsay Lohan loves her Red Bull! It’s all making sense to me now.

And it’s the not the part where Mr. Cool Motorcycle Guy stops to picks up his biker bitch who attempts to climb on the back but then falls off after Mr. Cool Motorcycle Guy punches it before she has secured herself.

The best part is when biker bitch, rightfully upset at Mr. Cool Motorcycle Guy, starts to yell at him. Then he exposes himself for the prick we all knew he was.

You see, Mr. Cool Motorcycle Guy will NOT have a biker bitch yell at him in front of a crowd, hell no. He’s not the bitch, SHE is, dammit. So he berates his woman and yells sweet nothings at her, such as: “Get the f*@$ back on this motorcycle and shut the f*@% up!”

What a dreamboat! His ego meant more to him than his lady. How sad for her.

People who do really stupid things to impress crowds of people are morons. But entertaining, nonetheless.

Once on the Fourth of July, traffic was SO backed up leaving Seattle (as it is every year after the firework display) that cars were just sitting for miles. As we are sitting there, this guy is screaming up and down the shoulder on his crotch rocket, thinking he is all rad.

Until he laid his bike down in the ditch.

Mr. Cool Showboat Guy came sliding by my window with the bike on it’s side and I seriously think I peed myself it was so funny. He got up and was fine, but had to walk his scratched up bike and body back by the hundreds of people that he had just  flew by.

Humbling moments. They’re just so funny.

Connie Culp, the woman who received the United States’ first face transplant, has come forward with her identity and the events that led to her needing the medical procedure.

Culp, a 46-year old woman from Ohio, was shot in the face by her husband in 2004. The blast severely disfigured her, she no longer had a nose, a palate or lower eyelids.

But in December 2008, a 22-hour surgery changed her life. Doctors replaced 80% of Culp’s face with that of a dead woman’s – and she is forever grateful.

She was released from the hospital in February and is now comfortable with going public.

She seemed shy as she told the crowd at a press conference, “Well, I guess I’m the one you came to see today.”

She laughed but became serious as she spoke about being grateful to the family of the donor. She said, “I think it’s more important that you focus on the donor family that made it so I could have this person’s face.”

Shannon Burke, a Florida radio personality, was arrested Thursday after shooting both his wife and dog.

It is believed that at around 10:45 PM Wednesday Burke became angry at his dog, a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, so he decided to wave around a gun and threaten the animal. That’s when the gun discharged, shooting his dog through the leg and his wife in the head. He claims he did know know the gun was loaded.

Burke, 43, has been charged with aggravated battery with a weapon and animal cruelty. He was ordered to wear a GPS ankle bracellet and his bond has been set at $10,000.

Both his wife, Catherine, and the dog have been treated and will recover.

After two years, 17-year-old Kara Kopetsky still has not been found.

The teen was featured on Nancy Grace’s Cold Case this morning in hopes that someone who knows something will come forward.

The teen was last spotted leaving her school grounds after arguing with a teacher. She left school around 10:30am and was never seen again.

She worked for Popeye’s Chicken and didn’t show up for her shift that day despite asking her mother to make sure her uniform had been washed. Kara’s cell phone and bank activity also stopped that day.

A $30,000 reward is offered for tips leading to the whereabouts of Kara Kopetsky or the arrest of anyone responsible for her disappearance.

Police and family urge people to call the Belton Police Department’s tip-line at 816-474-TIPS. Kara is described as 5 feet 5 inches tall and 125 pounds with brown hair and hazel eyes.

Oxana Malaya’s parents were unable to care for her as a young child and so they essentially abandoned the girl at the age of 3.

Oxana was left to fend for herself, eventually finding a home of her own among the local wild dogs.

She was found as a feral child five years later, unable to talk or communicate except with dog-like mannerisms. She crouched, barked and growled.

It was extremely difficult for Oxana to learn to function as a human being. She eventually learned language and overcame many behavioral issues.

These days she resides at a home for the mentally handicapped, where she takes care of animals on a farm. She has expressed that she is at her happiest and most comfortable when in the company of dogs.

An  asteroid dubbed 2009 DD45, recently just missed the Earth by a distance of 46,000 miles (close!), and we only discovered it two days beforehand.

The asteroid was approximately two hundred feet long, and had it hit the Earth’s surface could have caused massive devastation.

Astronomers believe the asteroid will be back at some point as it is in a solar orbit that intersects the Earth’s orbit.
