Patrick Dempsey has signed on as the new face of Versace and will head the 2008 men’s spring/summer line.
He has completed his photo shoot with top fashion photographer Mario Testino.
Dempsey was honored to take the job. He said, “It was so lovely to work with Donatella Versace, she is an iconic and inspirational woman and a wonderful person, not to mention what a pleasure it was to work with Mario Testino too, one of the world’s finest photographers.”
Versace also loved working with McDreamy, “Patrick represents everything that is great about this collection… He is the modern man of today. He looks fantastic in the clothes.”

Patrick Dempsey’s wife, Jillian, gave birth to twin boys yesterday at a hospital in Los Angeles.
Dempsey’s rep told People magazine that the McDreamy’s named their baby boys Darby Galen and Sullivan Patrick Dempsey. The twins have an older sister, Talulah.

A mummified body was found where “CSI: NY”
was filming in LA on Tuesday. The body has not yet been identified. It was found while filming. It just so happens that an episode titled “Not What It Looks Like,” about the discovery of a mummified body, was filmed just last month. That episode is scheduled to air on Sept. 27. Los Angeles Police Department’s Public Information office said that a body was found in the vicinity, but did not confirm the exact location.
Christie Brinkley has officially filed for divorce from her husban
d Peter Cook who 2 months ago had cheated on her with an 18 year old. “I can neither confirm nor deny it,” says Brinkley’s publicist, Elliot Mintz, Thursday morning. They were married in 1996, and have an 8-year-old daughter, Sailor. Cook adopted Brinkley’s son, Jack, now 11. Cook made a public apology to his wife in the Cindy Adams gossip column soon after news of his alleged affair hit the town. Cook had said in the column that he would respect Brinkley’s wishes, whatever they may be. “He hopes there’s no divorce,” that lawyer told the Post. “IF she wants one, and he certainly hopes this doesn’t happen, but IF – it will not be nasty.”
Dog Chapman as well as son 
Leland and brother Tim were arrested early this morning in Hawaii by US Marshals. They are being charged with kidnapping. Dog’s publicist Mona Wood has confirmed the news. MSNBC reports that Mexico had issued an arrest warrant for Dog after he allegedly ‘kidnapped’ Max Factor heir and serial rapist, Andrew Luster, three years ago in Puerto Vallarta. Luster is now serving a 124-year sentence. A&E released the following statement, “A&E supports Dog and his family during this difficult time and is proud of his role in helping to bring a convicted serial rapist to justice.” Bounty Hunting is considered a crime in Mexico.
