Now we know why Ashlee Simpson and Pete Wentz were so eager to announce their engagement last Wednesday.
Ashlee is pregnant, according to Us magazine.
A spokesperson for the couple told the publication, “We are thrilled to confirm their engagement and congratulate this happy couple. Beyond that there is nothing to say.”
I hope the baby has her old nose…heh.
Ashlee Simpson, 23, and Pete Wentz, 28, are engaged to be married.
A source told Us magazine, “They are ecstatic and can’t wait to be man and wife. They will be getting married before the end of the year.”
Simpson’s spokesperson confirmed the news, “Yes, they are happily engaged.” However, they wouldn’t confirm if the pop star is pregnant.
Simpson posted the following on friendsorenemies.com yesterday:
“We know there has been a lot of speculation recently about Pete and I, and we wanted our fans to be the first to know, because you guys are the best. Yes, we are thrilled to share that we are happily engaged.”
Simpson and Wentz have been together since 2006.
I’m not sure what the hell is going on in this video, but Pete Wentz of Fall Out Boy thought it would be funny to make a random video of he and girlfriend Ashlee Simpson talking about how they can save the world.
Obviously joking around, Pete and Ashlee say that making a baby is what their royal contribution will be.
Ashlee lays in bed with a huge baby bump, asking for more Cheetos and speaking with a Southern drawl and brushes her teeth with what looks to be a fat shot of whiskey.
I couldn’t tell you what the point of this video is, maybe a stab at Britney Spears or just straight up goofing, but I’d venture to guess the couple smoked a fattie before coming up with this brilliant idea.
Ashlee Simpson’s creepy dad Joe Simpson wants to pimp his daughter out again.
This time he wants Ashlee to dump her boyfriend Pete Wentz, and then star in her own reality dating show.
Sounds like a good career move to me. Heh.
Ashlee’s papa thinks she should make the move in order to save her career and help boost sales of her upcoming album, Bittersweet World. Which obviously must suck or it wouldn’t need the publicity. But that’s not a surprise.
I am shocked that Ashlee and Jessica still let their dad manage their careers. I figured they would end up like Britney, shutting their entire family out - or at least their dad. But it hasn’t happened. Not that it eventually won’t..
Ashlee Simpson recently went red. I think it looks great on her, and I might even like it better than the blonde.
But her face - it has the same smile all the time. I don’t like her since having the surgery. She’s like a mannequin! The once down-to-earth goofy teenager now comes off as being a fake, snotty, spoiled brat.
I say the hair is hot, Ashlee is not.
After Fall Out Boy’s Grammy nomination snub, rumors are swirling that band members are grumbling about Ashlee Simpson and Pete Wentz’s relationship.
OK! magazine talked with a friend of the band’s who says that the guys are worried that Pete dating Ashlee may be affecting the public image of the band.
“Grammy voters are fed up with Ashlee after she was caught lip-synching. And her relationship with Pete has definitely affected public opinion of the band.
The guys in Fall Out Boy are furious. They think everything Ashlee touches is poison, and they really want her to stop touching Pete!”
Sunday night after the Video Music Awards, Ashlee Simpson and Pete Wentz hit the Decaydance/GQ party at the Mirage’s Jet nightclub. They had an entourage with them and Papa Joe was somewhere in the mix as well.
As they were gearing up to leave, the club’s security allowed Pete, Ashlee and Joe through to their waiting SUV but not their group of friends. Wentz freaked and demanded his friends be let through to leave with them.
“What are you doing? This is my f***ing car! I paid for this f***ing car!”
The situation escalated and a member of the security team pushed Wentz, causing Ashlee to be shoved into a wall. That’s when Wentz blew his lid and started throwing wild punches at the bouncer. Apparently Papa Joe jumped into the chaos too.
Finally the group was allowed to leave together but the incident left a bitter taste in Wentz mouth. He was still pretty fired up after the confrontation, spitting on the club outside and vowing to never return. “F*ck this place!” he screamed.
Papa was all riled up as well. “When somebody messes with my baby, then it’s over!”
