The New York Post is reporting that Dane Cook is about to be crowned “The Unfunniest Comic” by a couple of radio personalities in Boston.

The publication claims that not only is Cook not liked by your average Joe, but also fellow comedians. Maybe that’s because he is known for ’stealing jokes’. Some claim he has stolen jokes from the likes of Louis CK, Demetri Martin, and Joe Rogan.

He is the front runner in the contest which is modeled after March Madness. The Boston jocks, WBCN’s Fred Toucher and Rich Shertenlieb, claim that Cook is leading the contest with an overwhelming majority. He has beat out comedians such as Carlos Mencia, Paula Poundstone, Jeff Foxworthy, and Jay Leno.

Toucher explains the contest, “We were talking about how people laugh out loud at nonsense and Dane is a good example of that. We’d listen to him and at the end of four minutes he’d change subjects, and that was it. We couldn’t figure out when the joke was.

“And he’s actually hated. People don’t hate others they way they do him. At least Foxworthy panders to rednecks. Dane’s stories are so weak you wouldn’t want to hear them over lunch.”

So, I’ll be honest here. I have never heard Dane’s stand-up, and I think the only movie I have seen him in was ‘Dan in Real Life‘, where his role was not significant and not funny. I think he’s a good looking guy, but now I’m thinking that might be all he has going for him.

I used to be a fan of Carlos Mencia’s until Joe Rogan exposed him for what he is and now I can’t stand the guy. I haven’t watched his show since. I even paid to see him perform a couple years ago. Maybe it was a good thing that the sound quality was so poor I couldn’t hear him..

Anyhow - back to Dane Cook. I want to find out your opinion. Have you heard Dane’s stand up? Did it suck - or do you think the accusations are ridiculous?

There was a blind item recently that many thought could possibly be about Zac Efron, the pretty boy from High School Musical.

It mentioned a movie studio that is trying to cover up it’s leading man’s homosexuality by pairing him up with his co-star whom he could care less about.

As soon as I saw this kid, I knew he was gay. I mean he is SO pretty. And that hair…hellooo! So what do you think? Is Zac Efron gay or straight?

Condom Man (www.condomman.com) has sprung into action, chastising Nicole Richie and Joel Madden for not practicing safe sex.

1000 condoms were sent to the addresses of both celebrities, with the following note attached :

"As you are a public figure and a role model for teens, I ask you to please learn how to use condoms. Not only will you be protecting yourself and your partner, you’ll be giving the tabloids one less thing to talk about. You are not presently capable of bringing a pregnancy to term and, as such, if you choose to engage in sex, please be smart enough to engage in safe sex."

By sending this donation to the high-profile couple, the Los Angeles company hopes to raise awareness of the importance of safe sex.

"Should the rumors turn out to be false, my hope is that they will use these condoms to prevent any future scares or surprises," said Kevin Mirarchi, owner of Condom Man.

It seems the apple doesn’t fall far from the tree.

Marilyn Manson told Rolling Stone that his wacko dad threatened to kill Evan Rachel Wood if she hurts him.  Manson claims Wood’s father also said something similar to him.

"I found a strange ironic similarity with what her father said to me, and what my dad said to Evan, which was, ‘If you break his heart, I’ll kill you,’ or something along those lines."

Manson also lashed back at people who say his 19 year-old hooker is only dating him for the fame.

"Evan was a real catalyst to help me realize that I wasn’t delivering the message that I always stood for. And if you were to speak about her talent and personality, she’s the most unique, stand-alone person who doesn’t need a relationship with me to further her career. If anything, I could only take away from it."

Uhh..I had never even heard of the bitch before she was with that eel looking mofo.  I think I had to Google her ass to figure it out. 

Why is it I have a feeling he is going to knock her up? What scary child would come from MM’s seed?  Born out the ass, with one albino eye, blue veins showing through it’s translucent skin, walking on stilts by age 2?

And just for fun..

Being a child of the eighties I grew up with Prince and his ‘Purple Rain’ Soundtrack.

I won the VHS movie in a contest on the radio and must have watched it a fifty times that year. I had the Purple Rain poster hanging in my room. I remember being envious of Appolonia. Remember that skanky lead singer of Appolonia 6? How embarrassing.

Needless to say when I heard Prince was going to perform during half time at the Super Bowl, I was excited.

I thought the performance was amazing.

The shadow behind the rippling curtain sort of freaked me out though. It looked like a horny, beer bellied Devil was behind the screen!

The most memorable moment of Prince’s performance had to have been during the song ‘Purple Rain’ with the purple neon and lasers, the fans lighters and cell phones glowing, and the rain coming down on it all. What a cool moment.

That was the only time during the game that I wished I had been there. Other than that I felt for all those sorry mofo’s having to sit in a constant douching of rain through the entire game.
