DJ AM Attends Memorial Service for Chris Baker

Tuesday, September 30th, 2008

DJ AM made his first public appearance Monday when he attended the memorial service for his friend Chris Baker who was killed in the tragic Learjet crash on September 20th.

He arrived in a green polo shirt, which was the color everyone was asked to wear to honor the memory of Baker, 29.

More than 300 people showed up to the service which lasted 2 hours. Baker was remembered by many who stood up to share their experiences.

Baker was Travis Barker’s “right hand man,” and Barker is said to be devastated at the loss of his good friend.  He was unable to attend services as he himself was just released from the hospital burn center.  He is heading back to Los Angeles as we speak - on a bus.

Baker is survived by his wife, Otillia Villar, and 2-year-old son, Sebastian.

Travis Barker Cries for Help After Fiery Plane Crash

Monday, September 22nd, 2008

New video has been released of the fiery scene of the Learjet crash that took the lives of four people and left celebrities Travis Barker and DJ AM fighting for their lives.

I will warn you, it’s pretty upsetting. You hear Barker crying for an ambulance.  You can hear the terror in his voice.

I feel so terrible for the victims in this awful accident.  The only good thing I can think of that will come from this is that Travis and Adam will have a bond like no other for the rest of their lives.

Celebrity Quote of the Day - Shanna Moakler

Monday, September 22nd, 2008

“There are not enough words to express how thankful we are for the outpouring of love and support we have received during this very difficult time. We can only ask for prayers as we heal and mourn the loss of our dear friends who we considered part of our family. Our lives will be changed forever.”

- Shanna Moakler on the plane crash that nearly took the life of her children’s father, Travis Barker, and DJ AM.

New York Post Journalist Thinks Cat That Was Abused to Death ‘Deserved It’

Friday, September 19th, 2008

You all know what a HUGE animal lover I am, and I know many of you are too.

Earlier I wrote with a heavy heart about the cat who was beaten to death by the Sex and the City bit actor, Joseph Petcka.  (In case you missed it, get caught up HERE.)

In a nutshell, Petcka bludgeoned his girlfriend’s cat to death while drunk one night in a jealous fit.  His defense was that the cat had attacked him first.

Anyhow, a cold-hearted columnist by the name of Andrea Peyser wrote an article about the story saying that the cat deserved to die.  Before I give my two cents, I’d just like you to read the article for yourself..

FELONIOUS BALL OF FUR DESERVED EVERY BLOW

THE stupid cat had it coming.

Forgive me, all you animal- rights nuts, you freaky lovers of things furry, fierce and woefully incontinent. I’ve got something to say to all assorted people who’ve got nothing better to do with their days than stick their noses in another man’s litter box.

The dead cat at the center of a whacked-out catricide trial now eating up precious court time and tax dollars in downtown Manhattan is no innocent wittle victim.

Norman the Cat, who was pummeled to death last year at the age of 8 by an inarguably hot, allegedly drunk, former Met minor leaguer and bit-part actor named Joseph Petcka, had serious issues.

The first of which may have been his name.

Owner Lisa Altobelli testified yesterday that she named Norman after the zhlubby character Norm from “Cheers” - “my favorite show.” Norman Bates sounds more accurate.

No one likes to see a little frisky drowning in a pool of his own blood. Well, not many.

But Petcka had grown tragically fixated on the idea of getting along with the pet pussy that [Lisa] Altobelli called “my little buddy.” He wrote in his diary that he’d made “progress” getting the pea-brained flea bag to allow Petcka to pet him.

Early on March 27, 2007, Altobelli testified, Petcka had too much to drink. She said he chanted, in a weird, sing-songy voice, “Nor-man. Nor-man!”

So Altobelli did what anyone overly attached to a neurotic hairball would do when danger was afoot: She left Petcka alone in her apartment with her beloved cat.

Hours later, Altobelli returned. She found the puss under a table.

“He was cold,” she said, crying crocodile tears and hanging her head petulantly.

Petcka claims the thing sank his teeth into his hand. So he had to violently knock him away.

Innocent victim? Or kitty provocateur?

Why can’t we just ask Petcka to clean a few hundred litter boxes, and end this fiasco?

So the bitch starts out her letter calling animal lovers names. “You animal- rights nuts, you freaky lovers of things furry, fierce and woefully incontinent.”

Yeah, I’m a real “nut.”   I have a rescued dog that was at the hands of some assh*les who abused the hell out of him in ways you can’t imagine.   He had scars all over his body, his front legs had been tied up and he was starving. But wait, I’m sure Andrea thinks he deserved it.

If being an animal lover makes me a “freak”, then so be it, bitch.

“So Altobelli did what anyone overly attached to a neurotic hairball would do when danger was afoot: She left Petcka alone in her apartment with her beloved cat.”

Now Andrea places the blame on the cat’s owner, who fled her apartment, possibly fearing for her life, after being awakened by her boyfriend who had grabbed her throat and put a knee in her side as she slept.  So is she saying that in this situation Altobelli should have fled with her cat?  Clearly this woman’s thinking is completely askew and frighteningly calloused.

Just her title alone, “…DESERVED EVERY BLOW,” is shocking, isn’t it?  It’s as though she would have happily participated!

No animal deserves to be brutally beaten to death.  And for any columnist to outright say otherwise is disgusting.

If you are as disgusted by this story as I am, I suggest you write to the New York Post and voice your opinion on this bitch.  Let’s let the Post and Ms. Andrea Peyser know exactly how we feel.  Please feel free to forward this article to other pet “freaks”!

‘Sex and the City’ Actor is an Animal Abuser

Thursday, September 18th, 2008

Joseph Petcka, a small time actor who had bit roles in ‘Sex and the City’ and other TV shows, is on trial for felony animal cruelty after savagely killing his girlfriends cat on March 27th, 2007.

Petcka’s defense is that he killed his girlfriend’s cat, Norman, in self defense. However, those claims were shot down after Lisa Altobelli told the courts her cat had been declawed.

Altobelli, a writer for Sports Illustrated, testified that she had a weird feeling about the relationship between her beloved pet and her boyfriend at the time.

She explained that one day she came home to her apartment and found her cat soaking wet and in shock. Norman wanted nothing to do with Petcka and seemed afraid of him.

“He was hissing. Obviously, that was a huge red flag.”

On the night of Norman’s death, Altobelli says that the couple got into an argument after Petcka had been drinking heavily.  He told her, “You love that cat more than me!”  Shortly after she went to bed.  She recalled hearing Petcka calling sweetly to the feline, “Norman… Norman…”

Next thing she remembers is being woken up by Petcka who grabed her neck and kneed her in the side.  He told her that Norman had attacked him.  She grabbed her purse and ran from her apartment screaming for him to leave or she would call the cops.

He left, but when she returned home she found Norman, beaten to death. “He was dead,” she said. “I put my hand there. He was cold and stiff.”

When she called and confronted him he simply hung up on her.

The cat reportedly died “extensive beating that caused broken ribs and massive internal injuries,” according to the ASPCA official who will be testifying against Petcka in court today.

Petcka faces two years in prison if convicted.

I think they should declaw Petcka.  With a rusty old pair of pliers.

Walking Corpse

Friday, September 12th, 2008

Egad, talk about the walking dead. This girl looks like she isn’t knocking, but pounding on death’s door.

And damnit too, I love, love , love her music and think she is one of the most talented women of our time. Sadly, she is really good at being a junkie as well.

Her skin looks like the skin of an old woman!  And it’s so pale.  How much can that thin little body take?  I am surprised she isn’t dead yet.  I think a year ago I said she’d be dead in a year, but somehow she’s kept on going.  Going through her short life all tweaked out when she could be traveling the world, enjoying her wealth and fame, and living like a queen.

It’s so sad. Such a waste.

Isn’t smack glam?
