Scarlett Johansson is the new spokesperson for Moët Chandon champagne.

Scarlett says, “I am honored to have been chosen as their ambassador and to make history with the brand, as the first celebrity face of champagne.”

A rep for Moët & Chandon said the 24-year-old actress represents their product well. “She, like Moët, has a magical story to tell and makes people dream.”

Yeah, yeah, whatever. Pass me the tequila!

In a bizarre bid to earn money for charity, (and garner free publicity), actress Scarlett Johansson is putting a used, snotty tissue on eBay.

During an appearance on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno, Johansson told the talk show host that she had caught a cold from Spirit co-star Samuel L. Jackson.

Leno gave her a tissue to blow her snotty nose, and an idea was born.

Johansson is convinced that someone will want the tissue with her nose jizz on it because  it contains germs from both she and Jackson, if you will.

And she was right. The current bid stands at  $2150.

Egad.

Isn’t there a weird rule on eBay against selling stuff like that? I mean, what’s next, her dirty panties?

Damn, people are foul.

Despite the grossness of this all, all proceeds are going to USA Harvest.

Charity wrapped in a self promotional enigma…

Flashback: 2006. Lindsay Lohan was nuts, running around without panties, stealing friends’ cocaine and spending more time in the nightclub’s bathrooms than on the dance floors.

It was at this time that Lindsay Lohan, threatened by Scarlett Johanson’s rising stardom, wrote on a bathroom stall in New York City saying, “Scarlett is a bloody c**t.”

A woman who witnessed Lohan do this snapped a shot of the graffiti.

Scarlett Johansson was recently asked about the incident, which she says still baffles her, being as she barely knows Lindsay.

She tells Allure magazine, “I don’t know what the motivation was. I remember it was something really vulgar – I mean shockingly so, like, ‘Whoa, what, who are you?’ “I don’t really know that person. I only met her, like, three times.”

P.S. CONTROLLING ACTIVITY OF ANY CLONES IS US MILITARY OPERATION.

H.R. 534, the Human Cloning Prohibition Act of 2003, was introduced to the U.S. House of Representatives on February 5, 2003. After discussion, it was passed on February 27 by a vote of 241-155. It now moves on to the Senate for consideration. This bill makes it unlawful for any person or entity to perform or participate in human cloning, or to ship or receive embryos produced by human cloning. The penalties are imprisonment of up to 10 years and fines of $1 million or more. These now join other nations as diverse as Norway, Australia, and Germany, which had already added cloning for any purpose to their criminal code. And in Germany where it carries a penalty of five years imprisonment they know a thing or two about unethical science.

In a new ad featuring Scarlett Johansson, the actress persuades us to recycle our cell phones – and to see her new film.

The Environmental Media Association and Lionsgate studio came together to create the PSA, which hopes to help lower the amount of carbon dioxide emissions due to new phone productions.

The ad also promotes ScarJo’s new movie, The Spirit, and uses the same tagline from the film. “Answer the Call!”

The ads will first appear in People magazine Friday. Co-star Eva Mendes will also be featured in some of the ads.

I swear, if she hadn’t become an actress, she would have ended up completely not hot.

You’ve probably already heard the news, Scarlett Johansson, 23, and Ryan Reynolds, 31, are engaged.

No wedding date has been set yet – apparently they aren’t in any rush to get to the alter. Scarlett specifically. Which, good for her, she’s a bit younger and I think it’s a great thing she doesn’t want to rush into it. Too bad everyone isn’t like that. :cough: Pam Anderson :cough:

Anyhow, a source told Ok! magazine, “Scarlett doesn’t want to get married anytime soon. So expect it to be a long engagement.”

“She has said time and time again that Ryan is the one who she wants to spend the rest of her life with.”

It will be the first marriage for both.

Since Scarlett Johansson’s star has risen to the top so has her sense of style. But it wasn’t always that way.

Scarlett used to be somewhat nerdy and dressed as though she had gone dumpster diving and just threw on whatever she could find. Her hair was a mess and reminds me of Charlize Theron’s character in ‘Monster’. And her accessories were just all over the place!

Luckily for ScarJo she can afford a stylist and hairdresser these days..
