According to court documents, Penn is now asking that his legal separation case be dismissed.
Back in December 2007 the couple started divorce proceedings only to call them off four months later. It appears this is the case once again.
The couple were married in 1996.

We also know that Sean Penn likes young startlets. So when these two met up at Penn’s recent private party for Milk, the animal attraction was noticed by all.
The party was held at New York’s, The John Dory, a restaurant which Penn owns a piece of.
When Lindsay arrived she promptly sat by Penn, who “nuzzled” and held her.
The two reportedly looked very comfortable together, and before long, left to attend an after party.
And you wonder why Sam gets so jealous of Lindsay. Lindsay needs sex! She needs to be loved all the time. And by loved I mean get the sh*t plowed out of her.
She hasn’t changed just because she is with Samantha..
Lindsay is a classic example of someone looking for love in bed because her parents never loved her the way they should have. So she seeks it between the sheets.

Sean Penn and Robin Wright Penn have decided to call off their divorce and have been seen out and about together in recent days.
A dismissal was filed and granted in court on Tuesday and that same day the couple was seen at an Eddie Veder concert where Sean dedicated a song to Robin for her 42nd birthday.
The couple each filed for divorce separately last December. They have been married 11 years and have 2 children.
I guess Petra wasn’t that good. Heh.
Sean Penn and wife Robin Wright Penn are divorcing after eleven years of marriage.
Their spokesperson, Mara Buxbaum, confirmed the news to People magazine.
The power Hollywood couple have two children together, Hopper Jack, 14, and Dylan Frances, 16. Penn, 47, and Wright, 41, began dating in the early ’90s and married in 1996.
“Marriage ain’t easy, but it’s great most of the time,” Penn told Entertainment Weekly in 1997. “I love Robin. I’ve always loved her.”
I love Sean Penn. He was one of the first celebrities who fought back against paparazzi in the late 80s when he was married to Madonna. He was photographed taking swings at the paps before they had stable jobs.
Sean has always been a bad boy, and even though he has grown up, he’s still got that bad boy vibe about him. And hello…I find that sexy! And as for his acting skills…they are off the hook. Almost every movie this guy does is awesome.
Hopefully he and Robin can work things out to where the kids don’t have to suffer much. And maybe, just maybe, he will bury his nose into work and it will be a pleasant gift to those who are his fans.
