‘Shawn Johnson Dead’ Video
No, Shawn Johnson isn’t dead, but there is a satire video floating around the internet (via The Onion) likening Johnson to a race horse who has broken a leg and had to be “put down”.
The video mirrors the Today Show format with Johnson’s “parents” talking about how they had to euthanize their daughter after the injury because, “even if she would have regained strength in that leg she would have been too skittish to ever compete again.”
Offensive? I don’t think so. I think it actually makes people think about euthanizing animals.
Shawn’s rep had no comment on the video.
