• Nick (Bollea) Hogan has been denied his request (hooray!) to be let out of the jail’s solitary confinement and into general population or house arrest. Nick’s attorneys claim the seclusion is cruel and unusual punishment and that it’s unbearable for him to be in there 16-17 hours a day. We wonder if he’d rather be in a coma 24/7?

• Also in Nick Hogan news, Nick has decided to sue the Florida Sheriff’s department that released the phone calls he made from jail to his mother and father. The lawsuit names privacy rights and is seeking to prevent further tapes from being released. Last time I checked you pretty much lose all your rights when incarcerated. Maybe he should exercise his right to shut the f@*% up! Nick’s attorney says, “Nick only asks that he be treated no differently than the other inmates at the Pinellas County Jail. Instead, the Sheriff’s Office has singled him out by the unprecedented release to the media of his personal calls with his family.”

• Those crazy Lohan’s are at it again. Michael Lohan has reopened the divorce case saying that his ex-wife, Dina Lohan, won’t allow him to see his children. He also accuses her of often showing up to therapy sessions late and/or drunk off her ass. He says she failed to bring the children to 15 of 29 judge-ordered visits with their father. He adds that Dina prioritizes her relationship with her children as such: First, as their manager, Secondly as their friend, and Lastly, as their mother. The two were scheduled to appear in court this morning, with Dina facing “immediate arrest and imprisonment” if she didn’t show.

• Lisa Van Allen, R. Kelly’s former lover, is coming forward with tales of the R&B star’s predatory sex practices. She claims he carried a duffel bag of sex tapes with him no matter where he went. She says she was introduced to the under-aged victim before having a threesome, but once Van Allen began crying Kelly became upset and quit filming saying he couldn’t do anything with the footage. She also claims he tried to retrieve the video from her by offering $250,000. Kelly’s attorneys claim Van Allen stole a $20,000 Rolex from the singer and that she may have set him up in order to extort money.

• Megan Fox admits she has a higher sex drive than most teenage boys! Just what the millions of men around the world wanted to hear. The drop dead gorgeous Transformers star says, “I have the libido of a teenage boy. I’d rather have sex all the time than leave the house.” After that, she should be careful  when she does leave the house!  You can pick your tongue off the ground now, guys..

• The ashes of Kurt Cobain have been stolen from Courtney Love. The singer kept the ashes in a pink teddy bear bag along with a lock of his hair. A few weeks ago Courtney was robbed of not only the ashes, but of Jewelry and clothing as well. She stated, “I can’t believe anyone would take Kurt’s ashes from me. I find it disgusting and right now I’m suicidal. If I don’t get them back I don’t know what I’ll do. They were all I had left of my husband. I used to take them everywhere with me just so I could feel Kurt was still with me. Now it feels like I have lost him all over again.”

• Burn Hollywood, burn! Universal Studios suffered a major fire this weekend. It destroyed the King Kong exhibit as well as the Back to the Future set. However, NBC Universal President and Chief Operating Officer Ron Meyer stated that there are duplicates of everything so nothing was lost for good. Eleven hours after the fire started there was an explosion that injured a female Sheriff’s Deputy. The fire is one of the longest running building fires in Los Angeles history.

• Tim McGraw invited 9-year-old Luke Wood onstage Friday night to sing with him during a concert in Oklahoma City. His mother told People magazine, “My son Luke has been a fan since he was 3 years old and always has said that he was going to sing with Tim McGraw someday. He made a simple sign, ‘Can I sing with you?’ And brought it with us. I was completely shocked when Tim started singing ‘Last Dollar (Fly Away)’ and motioned for him to come forward. Before I knew it he was whisked onstage, Tim handed him a mic and began singing with Luke.” She adds that she doesn’t know how she will top that birthday gift.

• Fashion designer Yves Saint Laurent died Sunday in Paris at the age of 71 from a brain tumor. After more than 45 years in the fashion industry Laurent retired in 2002. At the time he said, “I tell myself that I created the wardrobe of the contemporary woman, that I participated in the transformation of my times. For a long time now, I have believed that fashion was not only supposed to make women beautiful, but to reassure them, to give them confidence, to allow them to come to terms with themselves.”

• Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes had a huge house warming party Saturday in their new $35 million dollar Beverly Hills mansion. The couple invited 250 guests, including Eva Longoria Parker, Kimora Lee and Djimon Hounsou, Tobey Maguire, Rita Wilson, Oprah Winfrey, Gail King, Kyra Sedgwick, Kirstie Alley, Brooke Shields, Jennifer Lopez, Keri Russell and Victoria Beckham. Of course all the Scientology bigwigs were there too. The event was super glitzy - it was catered by Wolfgang Puck, there was an entire orchestra playing throughout the evening, and an outdoor lounge with a fountain provided guests with a place to take it all in.

• Lindsay Lohan is being stalked by her father, Michael. He learned that she was staying at the Peninsula Hotel, where Samantha Ronson was deejaying for a party. Linds must have learned her crazy pops was on the way because she checked out before the party even started. Witnesses say Michael was staking out the lobby, sitting on the stairs - texting like mad.

• More Lindsay news - Lindsay and Sam visited the emergency room late last night. At first it was thought one of them had sought treatment but Lindsay’s spokesperson has since stated, “There is no drama. Lindsay and Samantha went to the hospital last night to visit a sick friend. Lindsay is fine.”

• Charlie Sheen and girlfriend Brooke Mueller are getting married tonight. Rumor has it Brooke already has a bun in the oven. Ex-wife and perpetual idiot Denise Richards won’t be attending but her girls will. A source dishes, “They had to tell Denise when it was, because they wanted the girls to come, but she doesn’t know where it’ll be. Who knows? She may even crash the event with a camera crew.”

• The home of 50 Cent was the scene of an intense and highly suspicious fire at 5am this morning. Six people, including the rapper, his 10-year-old child Marquis, and mother Shaniqua Tompkins were treated and released at the hospital for smoke inhalation. Tompkins, the ex-girlfriend of 50, has refused to move out since he tried to evict her (and their child!) last month - unless she paid $4500 in rent. The fire is being investigated and 50 Cent is not a suspect at this point, but I’m guessing the pissed off baby mama is..

• Madonna is refusing to pay a $92,800 hotel charge after learning the Carlton Intercontinental hotel in France allowed a camera crew to film her bathroom before she arrived for the Cannes Film Festival. France’s Canal Plus channel ran the footage. A couple years back Madonna’s anal bathroom requests (heh) were made public during her Confessions tour. She requested a new, plastic wrapped, toilet seat at every venue that only she could use and it had to be destroyed so it couldn’t be sold on eBay, or perhaps even licked by a crazed fan..

• Harrison Ford, 65, and Calista Flockhart, 43, might be getting hitched this summer. The couple, who have been dating for the past 6 years, plan on having a casual, small wedding. A source told the National Enquirer, “He said he’d marry Calista as soon as he’s finished with the promotional work for the new Indiana Jones movie, and Calista is holding him to his promise.”

• Ashlee Simpson has announced that she will indeed legally change her name to Ashlee Wentz after marrying Pete. But professionally it will be Ashlee Simpson-Wentz. She says, “I think that that’s something that a woman should do when they’re marrying a man. It’s a tradition that I think is a great tradition.”

• Gary Dourdan has plead guilty to two of the felony drug charges - possession of cocaine and ecstasy - against him. Another charge for heroin possession was dropped. Dourdan won’t have to serve any jail time as long as he enrolls in a treatment program by June 11th. TMZ reports that he has already done this. The class meets once a week for 30 weeks.

• Country singer Chris Cagle and girlfriend were arrested early this morning for domestic dispute. The couple were drinking at a local tavern when they started fighting. Once they got home it got ugly, with the girlfriend hitting him with an umbrella and Cagle hitting her with a purse. Police responded at 4:40am, taking both to jail.

• Who knew John Lydon (a.k.a. Johnny Rotten) had a heart? Lydon claims he would love nothing more than to write a song for Britney Spears to help her turn her personal and professional lives around. The punk pioneer says, “I haven’t written a song for Britney yet but I would love to. I’d like to help out because there’s a girl who needs some help. She’s been hurt. And hurt is the root core essence of good music.”

• Madonna’s adoption is finally official. After a year and a half, a Malawi judge finally approved the adoption of David Banda to Madonna and husband Guy Ritchie. Madge’s lawyer Alan Chinula stated, “We are very happy with what the judge has ruled. Finally the court has granted Madonna full adoption rights of the boy. It’s all over, thank God. It is a positive and beautiful judgment that will have an impact on Malawi’s adoption laws.”

• Famed Hollywood director Sydney Pollack died Monday at his home in Los Angeles. Family members say he had cancer. He was 73.

• Apparently Tony Romo and Jessica Simpson are seeing each other once again. They had dinner at a steakhouse in Dallas, Texas this weekend. Sources say they held hands and cozied up in a corner booth. Rumor has it that the couple split after the National Enquirer published a story claiming Simpson cheated on Romo with super-emo kohl boy, Jared Leo.

• ‘Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull’ blew the box offices up this weekend, making a whopping $311 worldwide it’s first weekend in theaters.

• Jennifer Aniston and John Mayer have reportedly been secretly dating for the past three months. Jen wanted to remain on the down low about the relationship until she felt it was solid.

• The Oprah Winfrey Show is losing viewers. In it’s third straight year of decline the average audience has fallen 7%. O, The Oprah Magazine’s circulation is down 10% over the past few years as well. That’s not stopping Oprah from starting another money making venture, ‘OWN: The Oprah Winfrey Network’, a cable channel devoted to ‘empowering’ programming.

• Velvet Revolver has turned down their own reality show in the quest for a new lead singer. However, drummer Matt Sorum announced, “We’re coming out with something in a couple of weeks and I think it’s going to surprise everybody.” He adds that the band might be doing something online to help recruit a new frontman.

• Brooke Hogan (Bollea), 20, was involved in an accident Sunday, and no, she wasn’t street racing, and it wasn’t her fault. Brooke’s 2008 Mercedes was hit by a 19 year-old man who was speeding. He car was pushed into a concrete wall. There were no injuries, but Brooke blogged about how just moments before the accident she made her friend buckle-up. She credits wearing a seatbelt for saving her life.

Tina Turner wants Amy Winehouse to seek help for her addictions. Turner is a fan of Winehouse’s music and hopes Amy can get herself back on track. She says, “Her problems started before the success and that is the problem. This girl’s voice is wonderful, timeless. If she wants to help herself… of course she can and she must.”

Kristen Davis who plays Charlotte on Sex and the City didn’t get to keep any of the clothes she wore in the new film. She says she was crushed when she learned the news. However, she did get to keep the shoes. She says, “I went up to get my clothes, and there were none left, because all mine were samples (and had to go back to the designers). I got a really lame deal - totally coincidentally. But I got my shoes, thank God!”

80s political rap group Public Enemy is reuniting for the 20th anniversary of the 1988 album It Takes A Nation Of Millions To Hold Us. The band will tour the U.K. Chuck D says he’s nervous about performing because he doesn’t want to forget the lyrics. “Just trying to remember all the lyrics is going to be hard. Some people have a gift for that, but I never had. Always found it difficult. We ain’t all been together in a room for an age and we got some figuring out to do when we meet up next week. But, hey, what’s the worst thing that can happen? You’re going to write a bad review? Ain’t no big deal. We’re beyond all that now.”

• Gary Dourdan has been formally charged with felony drug possession after his arrest in Palm Springs last week. Dourdan was found sleeping in his car which was parked on the wrong side of the road in the early morning hours. Police found heroin, cocaine and ecstasy on him. He claims the drugs weren’t his. . .as expected.

• Yes, Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon did get hitched and now People magazine has the pics to prove it. Carey and Cannon adorn the cover of the latest issue. Of course they are both gushing about their love for one another. I think they have known each other six weeks.

• Speaking of marriage, it’s being reported that Ashlee Simpson and Pete Wentz are to be wed during the weekend of May 16th. The location will not be revealed to guests until the day of the wedding.

• Jamie Lynn Spears just had her baby shower and if the gifts were anything like the dresses the guests wore, Jamie didn’t score too well.
