What the hell happened to Sammy Sosa’s skin color?
Has he been bleaching it, or what? Check out these before and after photos for yourself. Whatever has happened, he looks awful, and kind of creepy!! Maybe not if I hadn’t ever seen him before he wouldn’t seem so bizarre looking, but knowing what he normally looks like, I’d say this is creepy.
Elizabeth Lambert during BYU – New Mexico University Soccer Game
Elizabeth Lambert is one dirty soccer player.
Check out the video of this cheap-shot throwing mean girl! She is a terror on that field! Soccer might be a competitive, tough game, but there is no reason to do what this bitch is doing out there on the soccer field! One thing is for sure, do NOT turn your back on this crunt!
Ya know, it’s really easy to take someone down when they aren’t expecting it. Did you see her pull the ponytail of that Audrina Patridge look-a-like? She almost ripped her head off! And she did it so violently, she could have really done some damage!
A player should not be allowed to roam the soccer field pulling sh*t like this. Someone needs to take this girl down in a dark alley when she least expects it. Where’s Jeff Gillooly when you need him? If we can’t cough him up, I’ll be glad to step in!
Let’s take a break from all the Halloween costumes to show you something that will probably piss you off.
I love college football, and I hate to see anything like this happen. Brandon Spikes, a linebacker for Florida, intentionally gouges the eye of Georgia’s running back, Washaun Ealey at the end of a play. Dirty, ruthless and appalling. Anyone who intentionall does something like this needs to be reprimanded. It’s not that much different than Legarrette Blount of the Oregon Ducks popping that Boise State guy in the kisser at the beginning of the season.
Brandon Spikes needs to suffer some consequences here as well. So far, nothing has happened, but since the video of him gouging the eyes of Washaun have gone viral I have a feeling that might change very soon. Hopefully. Assh*le deserves it!
Andre Agassi was once a crystal meth user, the former tennis star reveals in his new book, Open.
Agassi admits that back in the late 90s he started using the drug regularly. When asked if he was an addict at any time he responded,”I can’t speak to addiction, but a lot of people would say that if you’re using anything as an escape, you have a problem.”
And what might his fans think about his past drug use? “I was worried for a moment, but not for long. I wore my heart on my sleeve and my emotions were always written on my face. I was actually excited about telling the world the whole story.”
In the book Agassi also discusses his failed marriage to actress Brooke Shields, his current marriage to Steffi Graf, and losing that hunky long mullet he once had.
ESPN’s baseball analyst Steve Phillips has been suspended for a week after having an affair with Brooke Hundley, 22.
Hundley also worked for ESPN and was Phillips’ mistress throughout the summer of ‘09. But when he recently dumped her, she went psycho on him and his family. Wreaking havoc and frightening his family. Boiled bunnies, anyone?
This crazy bitch told Steve’s wife, Marni Phillips, about the affair, down to small details. She wrote a letter to Marni introducing herself saying she is, “not just some girl he has sex with in parking lots,” and that her feelings for Steve are true. She then tells of sex romps in hotels, sexual text messages and even says, “Steve has a big birthmark on his crotch, right above his penis, and one on his inner left thigh,” so Marni knows she really has been intimate with her husband. What’s even scarier is that Brooke also talked about all the couple’s four children. [Read the letter here.]
After she dropped the letter off, she crashed her car into a stone column as she was erratically leaving the couple’s home.
Steve Phillips was a GM for the Mets a few years back an admitted to multiple affairs during his time there. One of the women ended up suing him for sexual harrassment.
So, what does he have to say for himself? Read his statement to police here.
Steve claims he never shared information about his children with Brooke, and insists that she must have “stalked me or bugged my home,” to get the information about his sons. He also details Brooke stealing the identity of one of his son’s classmates and corresponding with the son, via Facebook, over an extended period of time.
You can also read Marni’s police statement here. That poor woman told police, “Needless to say, as a mother with four young sons, I am terrified. I fear for the safety and well being of my sons, and myself.”
Way to blow your marriage, Stevie. You notice this is happening more and more lately? Affairs are turning ugly in the sports world. So many men in this field have rampant affairs. And lots of them. They don’t think about the consequences. Especially when you’re a big honcho like Steve. You have a lot to lose. And it looks like he has lost his wife and family. Oh yeah, and his home. Once news of his affair broke, Steve deeded the couple’s mansion to his wife. His wife is divorcing him.
ESPN has suspended Steve for one week due to the scandal. Whoa, way to be hard on him, ESPN.
Mike Tyson opened up to Oprah Winfrey in an exclusive interview, which, in my opinion, was long overdue.
Iron Mike, as he was once called, talked about his youth, the many controversies surrounding his past and the death of his daughter.
Mike recalls being bullied as a kid and spoke of one instance where a group of boys killed a pigeon of his by ripping it’s head off in front of him. He says that someone yelled, “Mike, fight him!” And that was the turning point in his life. He realized if he fought, he wouldn’t be considered a target anymore. He says that fight gave him the confidence to “fight back.”
Oprah then reads Mike a quote of his, where, after watching a film made about his life, Tyson, he said he understood why the public saw him as a monster.
“Then when I watched the movie I get it. For the first time I get it. I’m watching as a human being that’s very rational now. I say, this guy’s so unpredictable, you don’t know whether he is going to take you out to lunch or stab you with a fork.”
He explained:
“I took a chance to become more objective. I never became more objective with myself and then I watched myself, when I watched the film and . . . that guy would make me nervous if I was in a room alone with him.”
“You scared people,” Oprah says. “I scared myself,” says the champ. “That was a scary guy.”
Tyson lost his mother at age 16. He never knew his father. But he did have a mentor, a trainer and a father figure, all in one man. Cus D’Amato. As Tyson remembers D’Amato, he is obviously shaken. He gets choked up and teary-eyed. Obviously D’Amato was the father he never had.
“I did everything he told me to do, and I won.I won every championship. Amateur championship[s], all the championship[s] . . . I’m going to cry . . . so, I won every championship, that he told me, because he told me what to do. And I started believing in this old man.”
D’Amato died in 1985. Mike says after his death he lost his desire to fight and began drinking and drugging. He felt lost and was not prepared for the loss. By this point in the interview Mike can barely speak he is so overcome with emotion. His love for D’Amato is painfully obvious. It tugged at my heart to see him so fragile and vulnerable. We caught a glimpse at the child inside Tyson.
Speaking of children, Mike also had a very hard time talking about his daughter, Exodus. He says he still isn’t sure what happened to her the day she lost her life after an exercise machine mishap. And he doesn’t want to know. Because, he says, he doesn’t want to have someone to blame.
As for his marriage to Robin Givens, Tyson says that his ex-wife lied to Barbara Walters during their infamous interview in 1988. He says he was too stunned to say anything at the time, something that he deeply regrets. But also, he says, if he would have reacted, it would have been “what they wanted.”
Tyson then spoke of Evander Holyfield and the ear incident. He says he bit his opponent’s ear because he was angry at him for butting his head repeatedly during the fight. He says he just snapped. “I was pissed off he was such a great fighter, too,” he adds. He felt no remorse for what he did and says his initial apology to Holyfield was insincere. Oprah asks if he has seen Holyfield in recent times. He says, “I’ve seen him sometimes – and he’s a little leary of me.” Tyson insists though, that he wants to sincerely apologize now, and shake his hand.
These days Tyson says that he is “tired of failing” and knows how much he has to lose. He is happy in his marriage, has a new baby and 6 other children that he says are his everything. Reflecting on his past he says: “I realize I was going to die . . . I’m just so embarrassed, I’m so embarrassed.”
As many of you know, I met Iron Mike by coincidence, at the Las Vegas airport in 2003, and the Mike that I met was the Mike on Oprah. He was polite, soft spoken and a gentleman. We chatted for a few minutes about his new tattoo and the significance of tattoos. When I tell people about our chat they often respond with, “And you still have both ears?!” or a simply a look of disgust. But I didn’t meet the out of control Tyson. I met the kinder, gentler one.
Mike has matured emotionally in his older age, but also, life has worn him down a bit. I find him to be fascinating, and have since the late 80s when he was just coming up. This was an absolutely classic interview. It was so refreshing to see Mike as a human being and not the unpredictable menace that he once was.
Author Larry Johnson was the chief operating officer for Alcor for a period of eight months. He was outraged at what he saw during this time. In 2003 he went public with details of the atrocities and received death threats. While writing “Frozen” he was forced to stay in hiding. Johnson will be making his first public appearance on ABC’s Nightline on Tuesday.
The barbaric acts which he describes are absolutely hellish. I will warn you, if you have a weak stomach, do not continue reading!
Johnson says that baseball legend Ted Williams’ body was kept at the cryonics lab. He died of leukemia in July 2003 at the age of 83. The company was paid $120,000 to take the body and have it suspended in liquid nitrogen.
At some point, for reasons unknown, an employee, someone who was not a doctor or medical technician, gruesomely decapitated Williams’ frozen head, using “crude equipment” to do so. Holes were drilled in Williams’ skull and microphones were inserted. Then the head was placed on a tuna can in it’s chamber, so it would stand upright. The employee[s] then recorded the sound of the brain cracking sixteen times as temperatures reached -321 degrees Fahrenheit. Later an employee tried removing the tuna can from the head, but it was frozen to it. So the person took a monkey wrench and beat at it, sometimes missing the can and splattering frozen head parts in the room.
Absolutely horrific! But there’s more, and it’s equally as disturbing.
Johnson also says that live dogs were dismembered, pumped full of chemicals and experimented on, and that human blood and toxic chemicals were dumped down a sewer drain.
All disgusting, unimaginable stuff.
The last two months he was employed at Alcor, Johnson wired himself, took photos and stole documents as proof of what he had witnessed. He says that all he really wants is for Ted Williams’ last request be fulfilled. That he might be cremated and “sprinkled at sea off the coast of Florida, where the water is very deep.”
Alcor is denying all Johnson’s allegations and the company has posted the following on their website:
October 2, 2009: Alcor denies allegations reported in the press that there was mistreatment or disrespectful treatment of the remains of Ted Williams at Alcor, and will be litigating this and any other false allegations to the maximum extent of the law. Alcor cannot respond to individual media inquiries at this time.
I have to say this story disgusts and saddens me. People are very loathsome creatures at times. If this story is true I commend Johnson for being brave enough to come forward with it all. I believe him though, how the hell could you make this stuff up? I hope this story gets the attention it deserves because every single one of the people involved should be prosecuted and this company MUST be stopped! I plan on keeping up on this one, and will keep you updated as more details emerge.
Watch Nightline on ABC Tuesday for Larry Johnson’s interview.
Kimbo Slice vs. Roy Nelson on The Ultimate Fighter [TYF], Episode 3, Season 10.
Roy “Big Country” Nelson knocked out Kimbo Slice in the second round. If you missed it, check it out. This is the great thing about MMA fighting, you never know who is going to win or what style of fighting will prevail. Sometimes the fat guy wins!
Maybe one of Kimbo Slice’s most memorable fights was the one where he fought against James Thompson, popping his cauliflower ear in the process. Gawd I love boxing!
Serena Williams lost it yesterday while playing against Kim Clijsters on the 2009 US Open tennis semi-finals.
The tennis star picked up a point penalty for what many are saying is a bad call. A supposed foot-fault, which caused her to lose the game – and her cool. After the penalty, Serena screamed at the line judge responsible for the call. The line judge then went running and squealing over to the umpire to report Serena, who in turn passed the info on to the tournament referee, who disqualified her.
Serena says she has no regrets, even if it cost her the game. “I’ve never been foot faulted [all year] and then suddenly in this tournament they keep calling foot faults. I’m not going to sit here and make an excuse. If I foot fault, I did. It is what it is and that’s basically all it was.”
“I haven’t really thought about it to have any regrets. I try not to live my life saying, ‘I wish, I wish’ but I was out there and I fought and I tried and I did my best.”
Not that what Serena did was right, but if the line judge was calling her out on bogus foot faults, it would be distracting to her game, no doubt. And there is a lot at stake here for Serena, so you could why she would be freaking out. But what exactly did Serena say to the line judge?
One witness says she yelled: “You better be f___ing right! You don’t f___ing know me! You’re lucky I’m not shoving this ball down your throat!” Another heard something similar, “If I could, I would take this f___ing ball and shove it down your f___ing throat!” So either way, there were a lot of f-bombs and shoving balls down her throat. But the line judge must have heard Serena threaten her life because Serena was heard telling her and the other officials, “I never said I would kill you, are you serious?”
If there is anyone I wouldn’t want shoving a ball down my throat, it is Serena Williams! Bitch is musclebound, hell, she should have been a boxer!
