A couple of Red Sox fans looking to give Alex Rodriguez a hard time at a Yankees/Red Sox game on Sunday ended up having the plan backfire on them.

They made up some “heads-on-sticks” with Madonna’s face on some and Lenny Kravitz’s face on the others.

However security at Yankee Stadium confiscated the masks and destroyed them.

A-Rod went on to have a great game, tying Mickey Mantle’s 13th place on the career home run list with his 536th home run. New York won the game in 10 innings, 5-4.

Cynthia Rodriguez is set to file for divorce from husband of six years, Alex Rodriguez.

Her attorney, Earle Lilly, confirmed that she will be filing papers in Miami this morning.

She says, “I’m sure you’ve heard rumors of the relationship he’s had with Madonna - that’s the straw that broke the camel’s back. She’s been fighting these terrible, demonic problems for two years and they don’t go away.”

Cynthia is claiming “total emotional abandonment” and believes that her husband’s late night visits to Madonna’s New York apartment are pretty good proof that he has been messing around.

“Call it an affair, call it a relationship, [she's put] up and tolerated his misconduct.”

Rodriguez was also photographed spending time with a stripper in three different cities last year, and anyone who knows the guy knows what a skirt chaser he is..

Lilly adds, “You’re not going to see a lot of other relationships named. The papers are designed not to be horrible, vitriolic, or create negative feelings, but just to put it out on the table and get this lady through a very troubled period in her life.”

A-Rod is reportedly worth nearly a billion dollars and owns multiple homes. The couple do have a pre-nuptial agreement, which Lilly is reviewing.

Not only has he been sneaking around, but he has also failed to spend any time with his infant daughter who was born on April 21st. Apparently he has only seen her once in the past few weeks. Multiple sources claim that within minutes of the baby being born Alex left the hospital and jetted over to Madonna’s.  The couple also have a 3-year-old daughter, Natasha.

Lilly says that the mother of two is devastated by the events leading up to her decision to leave her husband.

“Cynthia is a Greek Orthodox lady, brought up in a Greek Orthodox household. She doesn’t believe in divorce. She’s devastated, she’s hurt, she’s a little angry. He’s a multi-million dollar baseball player, but that doesn’t make any difference when there are two little kids at home and no husband. His activities - despite the fact that he’s a very prominent baseball player - don’t make him a successful parent or husband.”

Sources are saying that Madonna has got Alex into Kabbalah and has been obsessed with her for some time, going into a trance-like state when her videos came on while working out in the gym.

Meanwhile, Cynthia spent some time away from home with her good friend Lenny Kravitz (supposedly platonic..yeah, right) in Paris and returned to her home in Miami this weekend.

You’re not the only one feeling the pinch with the struggling economy, even celebrities are having a hard time paying their bills.

Another celebrity’s home is in foreclosure, former heavyweight champion, Evander Holyfield. The fighter’s Georgia estate, worth a whopping $10 million will be auctioned by a bank on July 1.

Apparently Holyfield is also behind on child-support payments. Understandably, he is refusing to comment on the matter.

Other recent celebrity foreclosures include Marion Jones, Ed McMahon, Michael Jackson and Jose Canseco.

Despite infidelity rumors, Alex Rodriguez and wife have had their second child.

Cynthia Rodriguez gave birth to the couple’s second daughter in Miami. She weighed 7 lbs., 2 oz., and has not been named yet. The couple have another daughter, Natasha, 3.

A-Rod said in a statement, “We are thrilled with the birth of our second daughter and the blessing of having two beautiful, healthy children in our lives.”

Cynthia told People magazine last year, “We’re thrilled. We can’t wait. It’s almost more exciting [than the first child] in a way, because you can anticipate what you already know is so amazing.”

And her payoff will be just that much sweeter..

Tony Romo and Jessica Simpson (with tag-a-long Ken Paves of course) had a blast last night at the Key Club in Hollywood.

Metal Skool was playing and they insisted that Tony come up and belt out Journey’s 80s anthem, ‘Don’t Stop Believin’. Tony didn’t seem too hip on the idea until the band got everyone cheering, ‘Pussy!’ at him.

Guys are so easy to convince to do anything. Just call them a pussy and they’ll do it. It’s so simple. Heh.

We have to give it up for Tony though, he went through with it knowing he was going to suck. He still had a good time even though he couldn’t get Jessica to sing with him, and it looks like the crowd did too.

Christopher Bowman, 40, former U.S. figure skating champion dubbed “Bowman the Showman” died Thursday of a possible drug overdose.

Bowman’s body was found at a motel in Los Angeles. His mother says he passed away in his sleep. An autopsy is planned for this weekend.

Bowman was in his prime in the late 80s- early 90s. He won the U.S. men’s figure skating titles in 1989 and 1992, and was runner-up in 1987 and 1991. He also won a silver medal at the 1989 world championships, and a bronze the next year. He skated in the 1988 and 1992 Winter Olympics, finishing seventh in 1988 and fourth in 1992.

Bowman has battled drug and alcohol problems for decades. He’s been in treatment at least twice, once before the 1988 Olympics and then again after the Albertville Games in 1992.

He’s also had a few run-ins with the police. In Nov. 04 he was involved in a situation where he was drunk and had a gun. He pleaded no contest. In 1993, while working for the Ice Capades, he was badly assaulted at a slimy hotel in a bad neighborhood in Pittsburgh.

Bowman was also an actor and had a part on “Little House on the Prairie” for one season.

Bowman leaves a daughter with his ex-wife, Annette Bowman.
