*Clipper!*
This is my baby girl “Clipper”. She is a long-haired dachshund. I have had her for 4 years. She has seizures and has also lost a lot of her hair due to allergies, but she is still beautiful to me. She doesn’t really like when I dress her up, but she’s too lazy to attempt to get them off..lol…She sleeps in the bed with my son on her own pillow and she has to be covered up or she lays there and whines. She is such a baby!
*Mammy!*
Short for Mammoth, is the biggest of 6 puppies born 10 weeks ago to my Shelty/Pom/Eskimo Dog sired by a purebred Bichon Frise. She is a total Star Dog! Love your Smack!

*Ozzy!*
Thanks Spicy.
Ozzy - Dachshund
He’s 5. He is extra special to me because he was my son’s dog and I lost my son in 2002 at 16. At the end of his life he was in a wheelchair and this little critter sat draped across his shoulders like a little kolinsky fur wrap. They were inseparable. Needless to say I feel like I’ve still got a little piece of my son with me every time I see the little lovebird. He was my son’s best friend. It is amazing what animals can do for people, esp. when they are ill. A “furry little chill pill” if there ever
was one.
Thanks! -’MetalSlut’
*Pete & Gwendolyn*
I have two dogs, so I sent you both of their pics and you can choose which one should be the star, because I can’t!
The dark red doggie is Pete, and he’s a 5 year old golden retriever
The beautiful blonde is Gwendolyn, and she’s a 7 year old golden retriever.
Thanks -Nicole

*Bobby!*
This is Bobby. He’s a 10 lb., mix of Poodle and Bichon Frise. He’s 9 months old and loves tissues, and worn socks. He’s brought some much needed laughter into my life (dealing with a separation…) He thinks he’s a huge guard dog, but is always happy to meet new people.
*Cooper Ray!*
This is Cooper Ray (actually, her full name is Cooper Martha Carmen Shiri Ursula Ray – she gets a new middle name for every birthday). Cooper is a pussycat of a chow-lab-collie-retriever mix. She was found in a box with her siblings as a puppy, and was fostered through a rescue organization. We adopted her when she was 6 months old (she’s now 4). She’s a certified therapy dog, gives gentle little kisses, squints when she’s happy, and sings (ok, well, howls) like an opera star. She is freakishly gentle with chew toys – she carries them around like babies, and still has the first toy we ever bought her. She’s a sweetheart of a dog, and we love her to bits!
*Breck!*
This is Breckenridge Roper-Nikitaras. He’s our my three month old Boxer puppy. I grew up with a female boxer, Maggie, who went to play in the forever park with her older brothers last summer at the age of 12 and I was devastated! I didn’t think I could fall in love with another baby so soon…but we found Breckenridge online in Lamar, Missouri, and made the 10 hour drive from Chicago with my fiance to pick up our new “baby” on July 1, 2007. Our Breck was 8 weeks old and came with a heart murmur, which he fortunately has outgrown. He is constantly growing- due to be about 90 pounds- and is wonderful and the light of our life. He sits on my lap while I drink coffee and read CelebritySmack every morning and we would love to see his picture up on your site one day!
*Fanny!*
Hello! I have attached a picture of my Lhasapoo puppy. Her name is Fanny Ziegfeld Brice (Fanny for short) and she is 1 year and five months old.
*Sassy!*

This Weeks Star Dog of the Week is…
Doing another ‘dog dump’ (heh) this week, I have six months of dogs piling up in my inbox!
This Weeks Star Dogs are:
* Dommy, Daisy & Denny! *
Teacup Chihuahuas
Black and White – Domino “Dommy” 11 months
White and Tan one- Daisy 9 months
Grey one- Denny – 4 months
All of the puppies were bought months apart in attempt for my mother to
give me a dog for my house up at college but now she refuses to let any
of them go . I think she replaced me.
* Peanut! *
‘Beagle in Space’, (Peanut), is everybody’s buddy. Human, K-9, or feline. He’s 8 and loves rock-climbing, and eating cat poop!
*Dillon!*

* Gypsy Rose! *
Hi Spicy,
My dog’s name is Pride’s Wandering Rose AKA: Gypsy Rose.
She was born on April 22, 2003; she is a Great Dane, but we didn’t prick her ears (thought it would be cruel) and she’s the sweetest dog ever.
Everyone in the neighborhood knows her, and even brings her Christmas presents, but we have no idea who they are.
She’s great with our kids, and our cats.
She’s now 3 years old and weighs 116 pounds, she still thinks she is a puppy and tries to get into my husband’s lap at any chance possible. She’s a Daddy’s Girl!
She has a loveseat that is all hers, to nap on, and she takes up most of it, and she sleeps with her head falling off, on her back, her jowels splay open and her legs in the air! It’s too funny when she does that, my kids always say she’s a dead cockroach when she’s in that position.
She loves the snow, she’ll chase the snow blower and try to catch the falling snow in her mouth, and she’ll root around in the snow, snorting all along, and come up with snow all along her snout.
She stands on the sometimes 4 foot high mounds of snow and bark and bounce as people walk by, making them shizz their pants thinking she’s going to just step over the fench.
Take care, and love your blog.

The ‘Star Dog of the Week’ Will Return Next Week..
But in the meantime, I had to mention a past ‘Star Dog’ who has gone on to Doggy Heaven. Here’s a letter from Kathy, about her beloved G$, who you may remember as one of October’s Star Dogs..
(G$ as Flav Flav)
Hi there, Just wanted to let you know our dear G passed away last week. He had liver disease and we thought we had a few months, but he got bad one night and we had him put to sleep.
He was about 15, so he lived a long life, but only 8 with me! I am better now, but sure miss that personality!
Thanks so much for putting him on your page.
Here he is as Flava Flav! He won the Pug Meetup Halloween contest here in Battery park NYC. He went out with style! I love the Sponge Bob clock my hubbie found….
Sincerely,
Kathie
Wishing G$ lots of bones, squeakies and belly rubs on his cloud! -Spicy

* Wally, Diego, Leila & Kenya! *
“Spicy,
We have four dogs, Wally is our first, he is a Mastiff/St Bernard mix, he weighs 170 lbs. He is a big sweetheart who loves everyone. But lookout when he gets playful and runs around! He has knocked some people straight out of their shoes! He is not a watch dog, because he is scared of unknown people, and the dark! But his massive size keeps people at bay. His favorite thing to do is sleep! We got him from a local breeder at eight weeks old, he is now almost 5 years old. I call him my Wally-bug.

Next is Diego, he is a Rat Terrier, he weighs about 18 lbs. He is will be three years old in July. He is very intelligent and loving. His favorite thing to do is climb on daddy’s lap to ask for candy (which mom doesn’t let him have). He loves to chase rabbits and is a great critter getter. He was top dog until he met his sister Leila. He is the only dog who gets to stay in the house all the time. He is very spoiled (as they all are) And very determined to get what he wants! Someday he would like to be a daddy! ( He is also the only intact dog we have) (not a good pic, I’ll send another later, I’m at work)

Leila came into our home around Christmas, when my husband brought her home from work. She is a pit bull mix, and she is alpha dog. She is about 2 1/2 years old, and weighs about 60 lbs. Her mommy moved out and couldn’t take her, so we keep her with us. When her mommy comes over, she can hear her car from down the street, she gets very excited! She loves to bark at anything that enters her territory, but her bark is more ferocious than she is. She loves to chase the invisible ball, and sometimes even brings back a real ball! She keeps the other dogs in line, but she Loves her Wally-bug.

And finally, there is Kenya. She is a Husky/Sheppard mix. My son adopted her from the Baja Animal Sanctuary. They are in Mexico, and they rescue dogs off the streets. She was born at the sanctuary, and brought to California for adoption. We fell in love with her at first sight. She is silly and loving and will flop on your lap. She is about 8 months old, and until last week, she insisted on being lifted into the truck instead of jumping in. Her best friend is her cousin Leila, they love to play rough and run all around the yard together.
Even though she is my son’s dog, he swears she likes me best!

I would love to see their cute faces on your website! One of my favorites, by the way!
Marla”

* Molly! *
If you ever want to put Molly’s picture on- that’d be so cool. Unfortunately, I’m not sure she’s real photogenic and I know I’m not a great photographer- so don’t put it on if it doesn’t work for your site.
-Nicole
Thanks Nicole! Molly’s a babe!
