Elisabeth Hasselbeck Gets Sued… And Not Even For Being Annoying
Elisabeth Hasselbeck might want to enlist the help of some of her Republican friends, as she finds herself in some legal trouble, accused of stealing material from another author for her own book.
Susan Hassett has filed a federal lawsuit against this particular host of “The View” for infringing on her copyrights with “The G-Free Diet: A Gluten-Free Survival Guide,” a book on celiac disease that Hasselbeck just had published last month.
In her suit, Hassett claims she sent Hasselbeck a copy of her own book, “Living With Celiac Disease,” in April 2008, along with a homemade cooking video, a personal note, a newspaper article and a business card.
Hasselbeck recently discovered she’s long suffered from celiac disease, an autoimmune disorder linked to gluten proteins found in wheat, barley and rye. The disease can cause, among other things, chronic diarrhea and fatigue.
Does anyone else find it a little funny that Elisabeth Hasselbeck is tired all the time because of all of her pooping? Me neither… I… I was just asking. No, that’s not a smile on my face. Okay, a little grin, maybe… but a smile… No, I haven’t been laughing either… a little chuckling to myself, but… oh, who am I kidding?
Diarrhea cha-cha-cha!! Sometimes I’m just too mature for my own good.
