It seems Hollywood celebrities endorse everything these days.

It’s crazy. You can’t open a magazine or watch television without seeing them promote some sort of useless product. From clothing to beauty products and even fast food. But you don’t usually see celebrities endorsing candy and you probably never will. (Unless they happen to have one named after them!) It’s one of the only things safe from being recommended by famous A-listers and sports figures.

So I wondered, what if the market for celebrity candy endorsements were hot? Who would represent what candy and why?

Tori Spelling says she won’t be inviting her mother, Candy Spelling, onto her reality show anytime soon.

She says the reason is she doesn’t want to put anymore pressure on their already fragile relationship. The mother and daughter have finally reconciled after feuding ever since Tori’s father Aaron fell ill. The birth of Tori and Dean McDermott’s first child, Liam, helped the reconciliation along and both Tori and Candy agree that it wouldn’t be a good idea to work together.

Tori says,

“I know that a lot of people want to see that, but I don’t want to be selling out by putting my family on TV. I’m taking time to cultivate that relationship and let it grow again.”

People magazine is reporting that Tori is already ordained and has performed a wedding ceremony for two gay men who asked her to officiate their union at her Chateau La Rue.

“I am now officially ordained,” Spelling, 34, writes on her MySpace blog. “Yep, that’s right – Reverend Tori Spelling! I did it last week online and my official certificate is in the mail.”

Spelling officiated the first wedding at Chateau La Rue, the bed and breakfast Spelling runs with husband Dean McDermott on their Oxygen reality show Tori & Dean Inn Love.

“I was so honored when the couple asked me to officiate,” Spelling writes. “We did it on the front steps of the Chateau as 40 of their friends looked on seated in a lounge-like atmosphere. It was so beautiful as I united Tony and Dex as life partners in love.”

Spelling, who welcomed son Liam in March, says she was “beyond nervous” while performing the ceremony. “I’ve done live theater and presented at the Emmys and this by far was my scariest moment simply because they had bestowed such an honor upon me and I didn’t want to let them down.”

After the nuptials, the happy couple and their guests dined on steak, sea bass and veggie lasagna and enjoyed a performance of “Cabaret” by one of the grooms. Spelling and McDermott hit the dance floor with Liam for what Spelling calls “a magical evening of pure love.”

The lesson of the day? “Love is pure and true; love knows no gender,” Spelling writes. “I’ve found it, Tony and Dex have found it, and I wish love to all that seek it. Don’t ever let anyone tell you who to love. Only our hearts can dictate that.”
