Val Kilmer has gained a little weight and is getting older, but I still think he’s a babe.

But then of course I was in 8th grade when Top Gun came out and I was on team ‘Iceman’. Most other girls my age had Tiger Beat magazine cutouts of Tom Cruise in their lockers and bedrooms. I always thought Kilmer was the hotness in that flick, so these days I still have a soft spot for the guy. Older and heavier..or not.

Val Kilmer is well into middle age by now, but the 46-year-old actor is not shy about revealing his schoolboy-type crushes.
Asked by Elle magazine to reveal the one woman he’d most like to have on his speed dial, Kilmer named Cate Blanchett, the Australian actress with whom he worked on the 2003 film The Missing.

“I not only forgot my dialogue in the scene, I forgot that I was acting, I forgot I was on a movie set, and I just stood there staring at her,” Kilmer says in the magazine’s December

issue.
Given the choice, the magazine asks, would Kilmer rather sleep with Oprah Winfrey or Nicole Richie?

“Oprah, any day of the week,” he replies. “Sorry, Nicole.”

Kilmer has been linked to a slew of girlfriends over the years, including Cindy Crawford, Cher, Michelle Pfeiffer, Daryl Hannah and Ellen Barkin.
Presented with an imaginary scenario in which he gets arrested, Kilmer tells Elle that Crawford would be the one to bail him out, Hannah would pick out his suit for court, Cher would testify for him, and Ellen Barkin would testify against him.

“She must really hate you,” Elle suggests.
Kilmer responds: “Hell hath no fury …”

As for Blanchett, Kilmer’s chances with her are slim since the 37-year-old Oscar winner has been married to playwright and screenwriter Andrew Upton since 1997. They have two young children.
Kilmer, who stars in the upcoming film Déjà Vu, does get serious (briefly) when asked about his 1996 divorce from actress Joanne Whalley after eight years of marriage and two children.

“You just don’t understand humility until you have children and get divorced,” he says. “I was very hurt and very angry and so was she. But when kids are involved, you either become friends with respect or you become mortal enemies.”
