Awww… sometimes true love just isn’t meant to last. And then there are those couples who people don’t even care about that break-up, and I guess the universe somehow balances itself out or something profound like that.

Nick Lachey and Vanessa Minnillo are done… over… split up…. finished. Us Magazine reports that it was an amicable break-up, that they still care about each other as friends, this was the best thing, blah blah blah. Can someone remind me who these two people are again, and why I should notice them? He used to be in a boy band and was married to Jessica Simpson, and she used to be on MTV. So what you’re telling me is that, combined, they still haven’t done as much as my neighbor down the street, who is able to scratch his ass while walking his dog. That’s what I thought.

The Kidd feels the same way about this one as I did when my best friend told me he was breaking up with his fiancee, because he caught her having sex with his dad and his uncle at the same time on the internet while a donkey dressed in leather watched… thanks for letting me know, but I just don’t care. Man, I’m such a good friend.

In an interview with Good Day New York, Nick Lachey talked about his new baseball team, the Tacoma Rainiers, but when the topic turned to he and girlfriend, Vanessa Minnillo’s sex photos, his camera went off air.

You can see Nick’s frustration through his eyes though he’s putting on his best poker face. The blinking says it all.

People Magazine is reporting that Marilyn Manson’s new 19 year-old girlfriend wears her hair and makeup like Dita, and that Marilyn is going through some sort of midlife crisis. Me thinks he should be hitting the rehab with good pal Lindsay.
