Rock of Love: Season 2 Starting Next Month!

Wednesday, December 5th, 2007

rockoflove0-94.jpg

Thanks to the writer’s strike, reality shows are going to be aplenty this winter season.

VH1’s ‘Rock of Love with Bret Michaels’ is already underway and will be premiering early next month!

Bret Michaels put out this bulletin on MySpace just MINUTES ago:

“Rock of Love 2 with Bret Michaels” will premiere on vh1 Sunday, January 13, 2008!!

That’s right, while most everything will be going to repeats due to the writer’s strike, an all new season of “Rock of Love with Bret Michaels” will begin! As you know, you made “Rock of Love” the highest rated show in VH1 history! And, since things didn’t work out with Jes, we’re back for round two! The second season is sure to be crazier than the first and you won’t want to miss it!!

Awesome. I love this trashy show. :)

A ‘New York’ State of Mind

Tuesday, October 2nd, 2007

1001_new_york_tmz_275.jpg

Big mouth, too much warpaint and a monstrous attitude to boot!

TMZ cameras caught up with Tiffany Pollard, aka ‘New York’ of VH1’s ‘I Love New York’ and she acted well, just as you would expect. Like a trashy diva.

She hurled f-bombs, middle fingers and was just a straight up drama queen acting like she is Queen of Shit Mountain. Doesn’t she know that people are laughing at her and not with her?

“I Love New York 2″ premieres on Monday, October 8 at 9:00 PM.

Promo shots for Season Two of ‘I Love New York’

The attention whore, high maintenance, drama queen is back in the house for a second season!

That can only mean another season of ‘I Love New York’! We’re only one month away from more drama from Tiffany Patterson, aka New York. The season kicks off October 8th on VH1.

More extravagant weaves, ultra tacky eyelashes, blue eyeshadow and minis with stilettos. After all, that is what makes Miss New York up.  Oh, and a really big f*cking mouth!  Oh, oh! And a new set of tig ol’ bitties!

Where it all goes down..

Interview With Flavor of Love’s ‘Buckwild’

Thursday, August 16th, 2007

buckwild3948039.jpg

So, you’re determined to get on Flavor of Love 3?

Of course! I’ve been determined to date Flav since Flavor of Love 1.

You’re genuinely attracted to him?

I’m genuinely attracted to Flav. I love his personality. I’ve never said he was ugly. I’m not gonna be the one that says that. I wouldn’t put a poster of him on my wall, but I’m attracted to him. When you’re around him, he’s got this thing. I don’t know what you call it. It’s that thang. Flav’s got it.

And this is something you’ve always known?

I knew I liked him, but you never know if you’re gonna have that attraction to somebody until you meet them. When I went on the show, it was cool. I was attracted to him, I got along with him, but I didn’t get any private dates. I got to go on the gondola for maybe 15 minutes and that was it. I didn’t spend alone time with him, but I did connect with him. I kissed him. They didn’t show it all, but we kissed a little bit. There was a little booty grabbin’. It was good. I think we can take it a little farther.

Have you had contact with him?

The only time I saw him after Flavor of Love 2 was with Saaphyri and Bootz. We saw him at the Reality Remix Awards. Afterwards, he went out to eat with us. I didn’t get to talk to him at the Roast.

Read the rest of Buckwild’s interview after the jump!

VH1’s Rockumentary ‘NY77′ Premieres Saturday!

Thursday, August 9th, 2007

1977. Fear and poverty grip the city. Underground, a pop-culture revolution is brewing that will change the way the world looks at art, music, dance and politics for generations to come. Click here for more ! Saturday, August 11 at 9/8c, only on VH1.

19771.jpg

This two-part, two-hour documentary tells the story of one of the most astonishing pop culture years in American history. New York City had fallen in decay and chaos. There were not enough jobs, not enough money, not enough police, not enough schools, and not enough social services. There was a city wide black out with major looting, there was a serial killer on the loose, and the Bronx was burning.

Yet out of the chaos, emerged one of the most creative times any city has ever encountered. Hip Hop was emerging from the South Bronx, punk music was emerging from the lower eastside, and disco was emerging from Queens and midtown Manhattan. Elaborate, finely crafted graffiti art decorated the subway cars. Break-dancers danced in the streets. There was a huge sexual liberation with sex clubs and a burgeoning porn industry. In the beginning of the year, the world was not paying attention, and most of this activity existed in its own underground bubble. Yet by the end of 1977 all of this artistic expression was about to become part of mainstream America and would remain popular for generations to come. Maybe it would never again be this independent expression, not invented for money or fame, but the need to rebel against the mayhem around them. Maybe it would go on to be commercialized and sterilized for massive consumption. Maybe it would never again be this unique.

It was, after all, a very special window in time, that doesn’t happen too often. And it will be celebrated in the documentary NY77.

The film will be graphically dizzying and groundbreaking, led by the team that produced the acclaimed documentary The Kid Stays in the Picture. Firehouse Films was created in 2004 by Academy Award nominated filmmaker, Nanette Burstein.
