New Moon ticket sales show no signs of tapering off this weekend, as the latest “Twilight” movie is trending to sell more than 10 tickets per second throughout the course of the day on Fandango.

Summit Entertainment has reported that New Moon has set a new record for opening midnight shows with an estimated gross of $26.270 million playing at 3,514 theaters for a per theater average of $7,476.

Several thousand of Thursday night’s midnight shows were sold out in advance on Fandango. Fandango sold nearly 30% of Thursday night’s estimated domestic box office for New Moon.

Miley Cyrus bus crash claims the life of a driver

A tour bus caravan carrying Miley Cyrus has claimed the life of one person this morning.

From what we know happened, one of the four tour busses veered off the side of the road, crashing and landing on it’s side. The driver was killed.

Miley and co. were on their way to a concert in North Carolina. The concert is still set to happen, despite the death. Miley was NOT on the bus that was involved in the crash.

Carmen Electra’s sex tape make headlines

The Carmen Electra sex tape is nothing to froth at the mouth over – just so you know.

By this time you may have even the “sex tape”, and if you have, I’m sure you agree with me. Not that I was hoping to see her get down and dirty. Sex tapes – or any porn for that mater – aren’t really my thing. But I did want to see it, so, of course, I could write about it. Unfortunately while I was seeking out said tape I came across a wicked – and not in a good way – website that completely funked up my computer. Hence, no updates yesterday. In fact, my laptop is still being worked on. True story, so watch what sites you visit, kids. It can be spendy!

Anyhow, back to the tape. I’m not sure if Carmen staged this entire thing for a little publicity or not, I mean, she hasn’t exactly been in the forefront of anyone’s thoughts lately. There aren’t even any boobies in the clip. Let’s just call it a blue ball tape. It’s much more fitting. And even after the “sex tape”, Carmen is just as insignificant as she was last week. Fail, on all accounts.

Tila Tequila went off on a massively long and CA-RAZY rant Wednesday on her UStream and oh my gosh, what I would give to have seen it!

According to those who did, Tila ranted about all sorts of crap as she stripped down to her birthday suit, even exposing her tampon string! She was out of it and seemed high – or totally wasted on something. Oh lawd, this girl is a MESS! According to TMZ, she even said that she was an angel who was going to save the world with her “army.” Egad girlfriend, get OVER your skanky self. The rest of us have..

Of course Tila had to take stabs at ex-boyfriend, Shawne Merriman, while broadcasting her naked self in front of everyone. She called him a woman beater and drug his name through the mud – again.

Although in the beginning I wasn’t sure who to believe, I’m starting to think that SHE is the insane one. I never want to just assume that someone lied about being assaulted, but damn, I don’t know, this chick has some serious issues.

And GET THIS, Thursday TMZ caught up with her and asked her about her bizarre naked rant, and she blamed it on, of course, Shawne Merriman. She didn’t exactly say his name, but she said that she had “flashbacks” that caused her to flip out a little. Her attorney is now saying that she is suffering from post traumatic stress disorder. Heh. Uh huh.

Mariah Carey, always one to make a grand entrance, arrives at the launch party for her fragrance “Forever.”

The side of Carey’s Rolls Royce Phantom reads: “Memoirs of an imperfect angel” along with various photos of the singer plastered on its side. The super diva kept the crowd waiting earlier for nearly an hour to watch her turn on the Christmas lights at London’s (and Europe’s) largest shopping center.

Oprah Winfrey Ending Show After 25 Years

Oprah Winfrey is ending her daytime talk show

Oprah has announced that she will be ending her daytime talk show in 2011, 25-years after the show first debuted.

Oprah is expected to reveal further details on her show Friday, but from what we know, her show will end in Spetember 2011.

A spokesperson for Harpo Productions confirmed the news. “Yes, it’s true that she will be ending her show in September 2011. She will be speaking about it on tomorrow’s live show.”

Of course it’s not like Oprah is going to retire or anything. She’s supposedly going to launch her own cable network, The Oprah Winfrey Network, a.k.a. “OWN”, and I’m sure she has a myriad of other things up her sleeve.

You can’t blame her really. I mean, have any of you been at the same job for 25-years? Exactly!

Is Steven Tyler Back on Drugs?

Friends fear Tyler may be back on drugs

Steven Tyler’s bandmates are concerned about their friend’s well being.

Since falling off stage in August, Tyler has become somewhat of a recluse, and has said he is taking a two-year leave of absence from the band. This has some raising eyebrows at his current condition.

Funny, when this story first broke, I had feared that he may be relapsing, because his behavior just seemed so out of character. It seems my hunches may have been right – unfortunately.

His bandmates also suspect he may be using again. Aerosmith drummer Joey Kramer told PEOPLE magazine: “I think that he needs help and that attention needs to be put to his health.” He elaborated that he isn’t talking about Tyler’s broken shoulder, either.

Kramer said he definitely thinks something weird is going on with Steven and hinted that he may be back to partying. “He’s got some bad influences in his life right now and he’s making poor choices,” he adds that Steven has “isolated himself” from his friends.

Aerosmith guitarist Brad Whitford also spoke with PEOPLE and is equally concerned.

“His behavior is spinning out of control,” he says of Tyler. He is worried, he says, because he doesn’t know where Steven is currently, or how he is doing. He says there has been a gradual change in Steven, and it didn’t just happen after his injury. Over time, he says, Steven has become more and more unreliable, and more and more eratic. The result has been many canceled venues over the past year.

This is SO concerning! And terribly SAD. Steven Tyler is such a great guy, and has been so adamant about staying clean, I just hate to see this happen to anyone. Especially somone who has overcome such consuming addictions and has been a steadfast role model for those trying to get/ stay clean.

Although Tyler kicked hard drugs in the early 80’s, he was in rehab as recently as last year for prescription drugs. Maybe it all started back then? Who knows. Maybe the injury brought on the hardcore relapse. I don’t know. All I know is that I hope he seeks help and gets it. Enough people care about him that I would hope just one person could get through to him. He is a good man and is so talented, I hate to see him come this far only to revert to using again.

He might not be THE best looking man in the world, but he definitely has major sex appeal! And that hair…don’t you just want to run your fingers through it? You know you do. Greasy and stinky or not! Heh.

Yes, ladies, I will admit. I GET the hype. He’s absolutely adorable. And, BONUS! He doesn’t seem to be affected too much by his fame. He still seems very “real” and that’s hot.

Awesome interview, Twilight fan or not, you will walk away loving Robert after watching this!
