Rapper Da Brat was sentenced to three years in prison today for assaulting a woman in a nightclub last Halloween.

Brat, real name Shawntae Harris, hit the woman in that face with a rum bottle, causing permanent damage. She plead guilty to aggravated assault.

Harris was also sentenced to seven years probation and 200 hours of community service.

Her family was in the courtoom and they cried as she was taken away to serve her sentence. She told her family she loved them and they told her the same.

The victim was a waitress at the nightclub. She was hospitalized after the fight and now has a scarred face.

It seems all is well in the world of Hayden Panettiere’s parents, despite the police showing up to their residence after a domestic dispute early Monday morning.

Alan Panettiere, who reportedly hit his wife in the face, leaving a mark, told paparazzi that everything was “peachy”, and that the the whole thing was “a misunderstanding.”

He was released from jail yesterday on $50,000 bail.

Extra is reporting that Lesley and Alan told Mario Lopez that the story the media is reporting is completely wrong. (How the hell did Mario get involved in this mess?!)

Mario explains,

“Nothing actually happened. In fact, Lesley wasn’t even aware that Skip had been arrested. Hayden found out about her dad’s arrest when he called her from jail. They love each other very much and want everyone to know that the matter was completely blown out of proportion.”

Ok, riiiiight. She didn’t even know her husband had been arrested -my ass! Just curious, Lesley, why are you hiding behind those huge sunglasses?

Sounds like this couple just threw back a few too many dirty martinis and had a hell of a night that they probably don’t even remember. But that makes it so much easier to pretend like it didn’t happen, doesn’t it?

Hayden Panettiere’s dad was arrested in the early morning hours after hitting his wife at the couple’s West Hollywood home.

Earlier in the evening had attended the Whaleman Foundation Benefit, hosted by their daughter at Beso in Hollywood.

Alan, 49, was arrested around 3 a.m. for hitting his wife Leslie, 52, with a closed fist.

“There was a domestic argument between the mother and father,” Sgt. Scott Wolf of the West Hollywood sheriffs said. “He got upset and struck the mother in the face one or two times on the left cheek which caused some bruising. From what I’m told, he hit her with a closed fist.

“The mother called police shortly before 3 a.m., and Mr. Panettiere was taken into custody,” Sgt. Wolf added. “He’s been cooperative. Earlier, they were at a party and the husband apparently felt disrespected by his wife.”

Because there were visible signs of the assault Alan has been charged with a felony.

It’s not known whether the couple had been drinking or snorting anything prior to the incident, but at 3 a.m. on a Sunday night - you can pretty much bank on it.

Mr. Panettiere currently remains in jail with his bail posted at $50,000.

‘Blake Incarcerated‘ might be out of prison in time to to celebrate the new year with his wife, Amy Winehouse.

However, he needs to prove himself first.

Blake has been granted a free weekend out of jail next month, and during that time he must remain drug free and stay out of trouble.

His mom, Georgette, says she hopes Blake will come and stay with her, and not Amy, during his visit.

“We’re hoping that his probation officer will advise him to stay with us. If he’s linked with drugs on his weekend visit he will lose the right to come out early. He will be released on December 30th if he’s a good boy. I’ve told him to keep his head down.

Hmm…a weekend out on the town for a junkie? Can you picture Blake NOT running to the nearest drug dealer and getting gacked out of his head? No way!

Shia LaBeouf, 22, was arrested for drunk driving Saturday morning in Hollywood after causing an accident in which he was injured.

The accident happened in Hollywood at approximately 3 a.m. after LaBeouf made a left turn in front of an oncoming car. He was driving a green Ford F-150 truck, which was hit by the other vehicle, causing his F-150 to flip.

Sergeant Wolf with the LAPD said it was obvious that the Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull star had been drinking. “It was immediately apparent to officers responding on the scene that LaBeouf was intoxicated and he was subsequently placed under arrest.”

Paramedics were called and both Shia and the driver of the other car were taken to the hospital.

LaBeouf was arrested and booked for a misdemeanor DUI. If his victim would have been critically hurt he would have been cited for felony DUI.

He is being treated at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center for injuries to his head, left hand and knee. Surgery was needed on his hand.

If you remember, Shia was arrested last November after refusing to leave a Chicago Walgreen’s for being intoxicated.

Shia, you had better clean up your act buddy, you’re on top of the world - why screw it up now?

You might ask why I am so excited about Nick (Hogan) Bollea’s upcoming birthday.

Well, that would be because the little prison bitch turns 18 this Sunday and will no longer be housed with the juveniles! That means Nicky-poo gets to be transferred into an adult facility, with the big boys!

It’s said to be an “open dormitory type of setting” where he will be in contact with other adults.

Nick is to be released in October.

Amy Winehouse’s husband, Blake Fielder-Civil was sentenced to more than two years in prison after beating up a bar manager then trying to pay him off so he wouldn’t say anything.

His wife did not attend his hearing.

Fielder-Civil has been in prison for nine months already, and if he behaves, he could be out in just over four months.

He tried to convince the judge to let him out so that he could go care for Amy. He claims to want to help the both of them get and stay clean.

Attorney Jeremy Dien told the courtroom,

“Knowing the nation’s glare is upon him, Mr Fielder-Civil has every possible motive to rehabilitate himself in the way he has already shown he is fully committed to doing. He knows if he fails, an appointment with calamity awaits, not just for himself but for his wife.”

“He can now see that hard drugs are to be regarded as nothing other than a smiling assassin. He wishes now to become a role model for Miss Winehouse but he knows it would be impossible for her to alienate herself from drugs if he continues to befriend them.”

Yeah right. Once he is out those two will be back to swilling booze, snorting blow and cutting themselves. I mean c’mon, this guy can’t even stay of drugs in prison. If he is trading pictures of his wife for a little smack, you think he is really a changed man?
