Apparently Mackenzie Phillips‘ (One Day at a Time, American Graffiti) drug days are not a thing of the past.

Around 10:00 am this morning as she was being screened by security, baggies of cocaine and heroin fell to the floor.  Officer responded and she was promptly arrested.  She is currently in custody.

Mackenzie is the daughter of John Phillips of The Mamas and the Papas, and the stepdaughter of Michelle Phillips, also in the band.

Phillips has a long history with drug abuse and  once said she started using marijuana and LSD when she was 12.  She claims her father showed her how to shoot up when she was 18.  Around that same time Mick Jagger, who was a guest in the Phillip’s home, seduced her saying, “I’ve been waiting to do this since you were ten years old.”  Eww!

Poor Mackenzie.  Still fighting those demons. And with a screwed up childhood like that, it’s not surprising.

Blake Incarcerated’s mother, Georgette Civil, wants her daughter-in-law, Amy Winehouse, to be arrested after she was filmed snorting cocaine off a CD case in a Camden club last month.

Georgette told News of the World that prison would do Amy far more good than rehab.

“I’m shocked by the video. When I look at Amy I think: ‘For Christ’s sake, just get a grip of yourself.’ Enough is enough.

As the police know Amy is a drug addict - and she has now been caught twice on film taking illegal drugs - they should arrest her and put her behind bars. Rehab clinics are a waste of money, unless you want them to work. Amy doesn’t want to give up drugs, so she’s got to learn the hard way in prison.

Police have to act. She is making a mockery of the law. It has got to stop. The price Amy has got to pay is losing her freedom.”

A few months back, Britain’s top police officer, Sir Ian Blair, said he wanted celebrity junkies who were caught doing drugs on film to be prosecuted.

However, Amy has been caught on film before, and police couldn’t prove what she was taking so therefore they couldn’t charge her. So I don’t see how this is going to be any different.

Georgette says that her son’s wife needs to get clean because her husband has already done so while serving time.

“Prison has helped Blake give up drugs and he’s doing brilliantly in Edmunds Hill. When he went in Pentonville last November he was in a terrible mess. His skin was a horrible dirty yellow color, he was painfully thin and he had dead eyes. I will never forget that haunted look. I feared we were going to lose him. But they gave him amazing medical treatment in prison to get him off drugs and then helped him conquer his personal demons. It worked a miracle.

Now nine months on he looks amazing. He has put on nearly two stone (28 pounds) in weight, his skin is glowing with health and he is so relaxed and happy. But while Blake has been inside, Amy has gone disastrously downhill. Prison worked for Blake. It’s the only thing that can now save Amy.”

Although I don’t see it happening, at least not due to this particular video, I do agree that she needs to be put away somewhere where she has no access to drugs. But it won’t happen unless she gets caught firsthand by a police officer.

I have a hard time believing that Blake is 30 pounds heavier and off drugs completely. He was as much of a mess as his wife before he went into the clink. Hopefully it’s true for Amy’s sake, it might be her only chance.  But honestly, I don’t think that her husband could even save her at this point.

‘Blake Incarcerated‘ might be out of prison in time to to celebrate the new year with his wife, Amy Winehouse.

However, he needs to prove himself first.

Blake has been granted a free weekend out of jail next month, and during that time he must remain drug free and stay out of trouble.

His mom, Georgette, says she hopes Blake will come and stay with her, and not Amy, during his visit.

“We’re hoping that his probation officer will advise him to stay with us. If he’s linked with drugs on his weekend visit he will lose the right to come out early. He will be released on December 30th if he’s a good boy. I’ve told him to keep his head down.

Hmm…a weekend out on the town for a junkie? Can you picture Blake NOT running to the nearest drug dealer and getting gacked out of his head? No way!

Artie Lange, sidekick on the Howard Stern Show, has checked into intensive outpatient rehab for substance abuse.

Lange, 40, has struggled with narcotic addiction for years and has been to rehab many times before.

It seems he’s back to his old ways.

Last April he walked off the air after having an physical altercation with an assistant and it was thought he may have been using again.

Artie has been very open about his drug use, telling listeners story after story about being drunk to snorting cocaine and heroin.

I hope the guy gets clean, because yeah, he’s funny. But he’s also a fat f***ing loser. His mom still cleans his apartment and brings him food..

He’s just lucky enough to have Howard there to deal with his shit, because not many other employers would put up with him. He’ll eventually end up a nobody, a washed up old comic. Then maybe he’ll realize how good he had it.

Amy Winehouse has been taken to the hospital for the second time in just over a month.

Sources say they saw Winehouse, 24, being taken from her home in a wheelchair and transported to a London hospital.

Last month Amy was hospitalized and after undergoing tests was diagnosed with emphysema.

Amy’s father, Mitch, told the BBC last month that he worries about his daughter dying a slow, painful death.

“She won’t die of a drug overdose, it won’t be that quick. She would die, unfortunately, of emphysema. That would be the most likely scenario if she didn’t check her behavior, which she is doing.”

Or so he would have liked to believe. Amy has not improved, she has not cleaned up her act and she is not making the right choices - obviously. Like I keep saying, it’s just a matter of time before this star’s light goes out..

Amy was released from the hospital 12 hours after arriving.

She reportedly suffered a seizure before medics were called to the scene.

Her spokesperson insists she is just hunky-dory now. “Amy is fine and she is on her way home,” says her publicist Chris Goodman.

Of course, he is blaming the entire incident on prescription “anti-junkie” meds. I ain’t buying it though.

“She was taking a new [medication] as part of her anti-drug treatment program. And it was an adverse reaction to that new drug. You have to try different things but unfortunately this was not the right one.”

Seth Binzer, better known as Shifty Shellshock of the one-hit wonder group, Crazytown, is most likely back to smoking crack.

You may have seen him on VH1’s reality show, Celebrity Rehab, in which Dr. Drew Pinsky treated Seth and other celebs for substance abuse.

Seth has been shooting a new, related VH1 reality series called, Sober Living.

While filming on Friday night at GOA nightclub, he disappeared into thin air - and hasn’t been seen since. No one knows where he is, and many involved in production think he’s back to the pipe.

They also believe he is using his money earned from the show to buy the drugs.

Oddly enough, Seth reportedly posted a video on his MySpace page Saturday night, (which I couldn’t find), saying he was checking himself into rehab. But he hasn’t done so as of yet.

If Seth doesn’t return to his sober living home sometime today he will be fired from the show. Thus ending any shot he has at cleaning up.

Hopefully, for his darling little boy Halo’s sake, he will come back.

But I doubt it..

Amy Winehouse’s husband, Blake Fielder-Civil was sentenced to more than two years in prison after beating up a bar manager then trying to pay him off so he wouldn’t say anything.

His wife did not attend his hearing.

Fielder-Civil has been in prison for nine months already, and if he behaves, he could be out in just over four months.

He tried to convince the judge to let him out so that he could go care for Amy. He claims to want to help the both of them get and stay clean.

Attorney Jeremy Dien told the courtroom,

“Knowing the nation’s glare is upon him, Mr Fielder-Civil has every possible motive to rehabilitate himself in the way he has already shown he is fully committed to doing. He knows if he fails, an appointment with calamity awaits, not just for himself but for his wife.”

“He can now see that hard drugs are to be regarded as nothing other than a smiling assassin. He wishes now to become a role model for Miss Winehouse but he knows it would be impossible for her to alienate herself from drugs if he continues to befriend them.”

Yeah right. Once he is out those two will be back to swilling booze, snorting blow and cutting themselves. I mean c’mon, this guy can’t even stay of drugs in prison. If he is trading pictures of his wife for a little smack, you think he is really a changed man?
