Peter Marc Jacobson, Fran Drescher’s ex-husband, is gay.

The couple, who were married for 21-years, were divorced in 1999. After their divorce Peter came out to Fran, who has long been a supporter of gay rights. Now Fran and Peter attend gay rights benefits together!

The two, who were high school sweethearts, are still great friends and even set each other up on dates now.

Fran says of her ex, Peter Marc Jacobson: “Peter and I met when we were 15. We were just kids and didn’t know who we truly were. We went through a lot together . . . Peter and I feel so blessed to have met each other and to still have a caring, loving relationship. Love is what we’re all about.”

Fran and Peter are currently working on a sitcom based on their relationship.
