Avril Lavigne says Christina Aguilera was rude to her

Avril Lavigne told ITV2 at the Brit Awards Tuesday that she’d recently had the opportunity to meet two huge names in the music industry.

Christina Aguilera and Boy George.

She says that Boy George was an absolute doll backstage at the Brit Awards, unlike Christina Aguilera who she had met at a different event.

“He (Boy George) was stood behind us and I decided to walk over. I’m a very shy person and I didn’t know what he would do, and he said, ‘Oh hi!’ He knew who I was, and I was like, ‘Oh my God!’ “He was super nice, unlike Christina Aguilera, who was really mean to me when I said hi to her. You know what, I said to my friends, ‘I’m gonna go over to Boy George and hopefully he won’t pull a Christina on me.’ We’re labelmates, and I presumed we have the same manager. I remember going over and introducing myself and saying, ‘Hi, we kinda do the same thing,’ but I just kind of got (*snicker*).”

Hardly shocking! Just another ‘Christina Aguilera is an egotistical diva’ story.  The more of them I hear, the more I dislike her. Chicky can sing like hell, but her attitude just really bites. I don’t care how pretty, talented or rich you are, not having humility negates all the rest.

    Wow, not shocking that Christina is a meany, but cool to hear Avril is very shy. I’d love to meet her! Boy George was fortunate!
