Clint Eastwood’s Family Coming To Reality TV

The Eastwood Family: a possible television rival to The Kardashians? 

Goodbye Kardashians (hope, hope), hello Eastwood family!

Clint Eastwood and his family are the latest celebrities to be picked up for a reality show. The E! series, called Mrs. Eastwood & Company will focus on the actor/director’s wife Dina Eastwood, their 15-year-old daughter (Morgan), his 18-year-old daughter (Francesca) from a previous marriage, and Overtone, a six-member vocal group that Dina manages.

According to Aceshowbiz.com, Dina is hoping that the TV show will help launch the a cappella group’s career, which she discovered when her husband filmed his 2009 film Invictus.

“I flipped out for them. I said, ‘I’m moving them over here.’ From the day they got off the plane, everyone said, ‘This has to be a show,’” she raved to E! Online.

Dina, a former news anchor and reporter, officially said in a press release: “People might be surprised by how we live our lives and our unconventional approach, and I also believe that it’s hard not to fall in love with my band, Overtone,” she said, but warned viewers, “There isn’t going to be slapping or fighting.”

I think the show has potential and I’m up for anything that has even a small chance of cutting into the Kardashian’s time slot. One can only wish.
